Beautiful day here, DH still sick, maybe I should get him to wash duvet since it worked for Sexymouse!
Might suggest walk on the beach with the doggies to see if the fresh air makes him better!

morning all
happy birthday boddy :bdaycake: have a lovely chilled day
will update my list in a minute but ready for a relaxing day today after a not great night's sleep - like most of you by the sounds of it! need to run the hoover round the lounge again as lots of garlic bread crumbs on the floor! Just watching the Countryfile anniversary programme - i used to love John Craven on newsround when i was a kid (weird kid!)
had a lovely evening with DH''s parents last night, they're not a super chatty family (unlike mine!) so DH left the cricket on quietly in the background, which actually was ok.

oooh, I forgot to tell you about my cheap trip to the shops yesterday:
they cancelled my library fine when i explained about the online problem,
and then i finally printed some of our wedding pics (just as a temp measure as I thought it was about time we had some up), at one of those auto machines in boots, not cheap but i thought what the hell, but when i tried to print one of the lovely beach ones 4 times at 8x6 for our parents plus us it made DH's head at the top of the pic even though it wasn't on the original... so I complained and they gave me ALL my pics for free - was meant to be £10 and all the other pics were fineMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

I've got DS3 back now with his friend so they are in the garden.
It is clear blue sky here and too hot for me.
Just resuced a bumble bee from the paddling pool. Poor thing is shaking so I've put it on a flower in the sun to hopefully dry out and warm out and have a drink. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Another one here who had a bad night's sleep. I know it's nice sitting outside in the cool but why do people have to talk at the tops of their voices? I ended up having to shut all the windows and suffocate instead.
Anyway
Washing already done, dried and put away.
Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs. Took dog out while it was still cool (though not that cool) and watered the plants again. Did them last night but they still needed doing again this morning.
I've got all the curtains pulled now and the windows open and it feels quite nice in here, until later.
Happy Birthday Boddy0 -
It's definately far too hot for me now. Just done a nice fryup brunch for me and DS (DiL's gone to work) it was really hot in the kitchen and I've now had to come out of the living room. (They both face south-ish) Even with the french doors open, it's baking in there. Outside isn't any cooler though in about half an hour, the sun will be behind a really tall tree so it'll be a bit shadier so I'll go out and dead head the roses.
I also need to Dyson AGAIN! The dog is stillshedding white hairs everywhere but I'll leave that until later this afternoon. I shall do a bit of ebaying soon as well.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Just a quick pop in to say that as I must get in the shower, way too hot isn't it.
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I am not liking my budget for August - £200 for everything as in groceries, travel costs (I can see us doing A LOT of walking  ), trips out (looks like museums and other free activities are going to be hammered!), new uniform. I can squeeze some more out I think to cover the new uniform if I spend the money I've been reimbursed for the school website  I'll speak to ex about contributions towards the credit card as well. My payments on the credit card should go down due to BT a chunk of it but I have another one to pay (estimating £30 for that one) so I have this horrible feeling that I'm going to end up going into my overdraft even further
At least my overspending has gone down - I was overspending by £400 in March (if you exclude me paying the credit card bill)...now its down to £200 but that's including the school website and credit card bills so to be £50 over isn't that bad now. I'm getting there slowly, my problem is the groceries and travel expenses. No more grocery spending for me except for fruit & milk I think. I have a full freezer so it shouldn't be too bad.
Right, off to sort out the DVDs and videos - bought DD the Princess Diaries Box Set yesterday (£14) as a reward for her excellent SAT results. That's going to be the last treat!:o
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
