Well haven't you all been busy flychicks! 7 pages to catch up with since Thursday, which I was the last day I flied/flew!

DH may actually be sick, he seems to have the same dizziness, headache thing he had at the beginning of the week - he looks like pants! (Not that I am sharing that with him)

Induction for new job went well but very clear there is some tension between boss and my co-worker. (not my bag and am determined not to get involved - someone please remind me of that in a months time!)

Evening RMC the avon stuff is a prevention not for putting on once you have been bitten. Just had a lovely evening at a neighbours - DS3 now asleep in their tent. They had an electronic light zapper thing which went sizzle everytime a bug hit it - don't think I've been bitten despite sitting out all night but I did have the Avon stuff on too.

    Morning All

Well we made it to Camelot yesterday but we had to queue for an hour just to get in which didn't go down well. The kids enjoyed themselves but some of the queues for rides were quite long so even though the kids wanted to go on them we didn't bother as we knew they'd get really bored waiting.

It's misty this morning although it's still warm so hopefully it will clear soon. It's the carnival this afternoon so will probably go to the park as that's where it's held.

Hope everyone has a good day.

It was far too hot overnight and I didn't sleep well. Wall to wall blue sky here this morning - I think it's going to be another scorcher...

Very misty here this morning and doubt if it will clear.
Wish I had done the washing yesterday, but didn't want to risk hanging it out since I was using the fence sprayer

    Morning everyone!

Another hot and muggy day here again with not a cloud in the sky. Forecast for the next few days is rainy, so have just put the sheets in the washing, so that I can get my washing up before the neighbours fill the line up. (communal washing line as we live in a flat)

Didn't sleep well last night either, cos OH was coughing most of the night, and then rifling through his bedside drawer looking for something amongst all the paper that seems to be in there. Turned out he was looking for the olbas oil, so I finally got up at about 7am, as I was then too hot to sleep! MEN!

Do you think it would be mean of me to ask him to wash the duvet in the bath for me? It would be nice to not just air it, but wash it too. I could be meaner and make him clear his bedside drawer out as 15 minutes hotspot clearing, for keeping me awake all night! :rotfl:

I made my own salad last night to go with dinner, instead of buying a pre-made one, and I really enjoyed it. It was a bit of a faff grating the carrots (FP was already in dishwasher by then), but OH and I thought it was much better than the shop-bought ones. It included little gem lettuce, sliced cucumber, grated carrot, diced apple, white grapes, and raisins. I dressed mine with Pizza Express dressing (yummy yummy).

We each had a piece of the cake I made after dinner, and it turned out really well. We only had small pieces as the icing was quite sweet, but at least it'll stop me getting fat so quickly.:o

Well I'd better get on and get dressed. May convince OH to come for a walk with me to burn off some of the cake - fresh air is good for colds isn't it?

Drank a wee bit too much wine last night coupled with flavoured chrisps does me no favours so feel rough this morning. Really cross with myslef as I hate feeling like.

It is hot here too so going to put the sheets on the line and the duvet covers in next as I am sure they will be dry in no time.

Plan is to do our bedroom and possibly DS3 room depending on how long it is before I start flagging.

To the shower first for me.

    Morning everyone.

Its red hot here already and it was roastng during the night. Like others I didnt sleep too well because of it.

Its my birthday today so not much flying. A quiet morning then after lunch I will go see mum then to my DDs. Im hoping GGDs will be there.

Looks like I picked the right fortnight for my hols. Another week then nose back to the grindstone.

RMC Glad the job induction went well. You are right its best not to get involved with whats going on between boss and co worker.

    juliejim Enjoy the carnival later.

sexymouse That salad sounds lovely. I wish I liked salad more but I would have ate that.

Dusty Hope you feel better soon.
