Hi all, did absolutely no flying at all this weekend as the kids spent friday and saturday night at their aunt and uncle's. We went over for a few hours with them yesterday but came home and enjoyed a lie in this morning. I didn't get up until twenty to 12!!
Did have a sleep hangover but fine now, ready for lots of flying tomorrow!!

    Evening everyone.

Thank you all for the birthday greetings.

Ive had a lovely day. As it was so nice I got mum to my DDs. Mum didnt really understand it was my birthday so that was a bit sad. But we had a good time in the garden. GSs dog which is a big Staffie sat beside mum and she nearly had us all in tears. She was stroking it and was so happy with it. Was strange as he normally jumps up on everyone but he sat by her side.

DD doesnt have a lot of money so I always get lots of bits and pieces which are chosen with great thought. So lots of ooohing and aaahing.

DD lives in one of the worst estates in town. Ive never had any bother in the years Ive walked up and down there. I was taken aback as I walked home and passed people. They were calling out Happy Birthday. DDs doing. Over the years Ive heard and seen some things that made my hair stand on end but I always get treat well.

Soappie Hope your DD is having a lovely birthday.

rach That was good getting your photos for free.

Ginger Girl Have a lovely time.

sexymouse That was a nice thought inviting your neighbour.

g&b Hope you feel better soon.

Boddy.. they do say stroking animals is really therapeutic for older folks.. quite often the nursing homes have people who take pets in to fuss.. Glad you had a nice day even with the sad aspects.. ((hugs)) And how fabulous everyone knew it was your birthday.. I think that is lovely.. a true blessing your daughter is.. definitely one to treasure.. you are obviously the most amazing mum.. :D
