    Morning All

Looks like it's going to be a nice day again. DH is still in bed so will decide whether we're going to Camelot or not then - we'll be going somewhere - it's too nice to stay inside.

Washing's on the line so that'll be dry soon - dishes need doing and I need to make packed lunches to take with us. Other than that everything can wait - unless I do some more ironing - I will get to the bottom of this pile!

Hope everyone has a good day

Denise - could you define 'cold' please? What sort of temp is 'cold' in NZ? I always think it's hot, like Australia but it probably isn't.

Was up early. Far too hot to sleep any more. Looks like we're in for another hot day. I actually bought myself a book at Tesco yesterday afternoon so I might just allow myself to sit in the garden reading it. But, things I DO need to do today at some point are:
    • Fill up the green waste bin with garden debris
    • Buy present for DD's birthday tomorrow (already have card)
    • Buy frontline for the animals and deflea them.
    • Put granary loaf on in the BM
    • Put white loaf on in the BM
    • Do some ebay stuff
Which is quite a nice, short list.

Hope all your lists are short today and you manage to find sometime to relax and enjoy the weather - whatever it's like wherever you are!

    Morning ladies

Lil_me I've missed you too and glad you are getting used to the caravan and that the boys enjoy it

Slept really badly due to the heat so feeling a tad grumpy.

Just me and the younger two today. I think I'll get the paddling pool out and they want me to create a high jump in the garden.

I'm not bothering with a flying list today as I seem to be getting nowhere these last few days. Just going to do things as I see them and feel like it.

Yesterday's cake is nearly all gone so may make another one - something different - SM I always use my magimix for cakes (sometimes just for the rubbing in part) hence why I make them so often - it sits on the side and cakes can be in the AGA within 10 minutes.

Soappie is the 20/20 near you?

SSL my Avon is the blue one - I thought it had to be that one for the smell to keep the bugs at bay - still got loads left but when it runs out I'll look at the others

You will all now know I'm not a cricket fan by any means - I had to google that :o! No, I'm about 30 odd miles away from the Rose Bowl where, it seems, there's some final or something going on today! For which, I think, I'm glad. I guess the traffic on the M3/M27 is going to be horrendous anyway what with a lot of people heading off for their hols.

Right, I've swished and swiped, had a lovely bacon butty for breakfast (with tomato ketchup of course!), have one load of washing about to go on the line before another goes in the machine. (Only two loads today - I seem to have finally caught up!).

I think I'll go out for the little shopping bits now before the roads fill up and the heat gets hotter.

    Morning!
Lovely day so decided to do some flying before it gets scorching and then play in garden with kids later with the paddling pool!
House needs a quick go over but shouldn't take too long and then the only other things to sort out this weekend is DHs 40th birthday party next weekend!
    Enjoy the weather!
Off to start in kids rooms - may be some time!

Any advice warmly appreciated.

It's DS2's birthday and he has all birthday presents open already:rotfl: .
Plan today is make a b'day cake, and go to pet shop, library and if i get anything else done it's a bonus, my sister's due up today and grandparents.

Lil_me glad you had a lovely break.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
