    Evening everyone!

Thank goodness it's starting to cool down a little bit here. As predicted, I did slightly overdo it yesterday - either that, or it's the heat, as I ended up going for a siesta at 2.30 and not waking up til 5pm!

Got a call not long after I last posted from my Dad asking if I wanted to go to the local farmshop/petfood warehouse with him as he needed to get some cat litter for their cat. I have a loyalty card for there, so I said yes, got a bag of catfood for my cat, and he got 2 bags of litter, so I got 2 stamps on my card, and will get £3 off next time I go in! :j

Have done 2 loads of washing (dried and put away - apart from one of OH's shirts, which the birds have targetted), and will hoover the floor in here in a minute as OH has managed to empty half of the paper shredder over the floor. Still, that'll be one more thing off my list then, so just the dusting of a flat surface left after that.

I'm sorry that the funeral didn't go so well Boddy. How can someone's life be summed up in 10 minutes? It doesn't seem right.

Rach it's nice to see you again. When I left the thread, you had just gone off to get married. How did it all go? Are you enjoying married life?

Gingergirl that lunch sounds fantastic - I've never had a boss who would do something like that for his staff. :T

Thanks for putting the weekend list up pigpen - it'll allow me to catch up on a few things that I missed during the week at w**k. You seem to have done a lot from your long list today. Well done!

nicki well done for being so self-controlled with the shopping. :T

Dusty you've made me feel guilty, as I'd planned to make something with my foodprocessor, but never got around to going out to the shops to get the eggs. Oh well, I'll have to go tomorrow anyway to do the food shop, so maybe OH will have a nicely baked cake when he gets home from work tomorrow.

Well I guess I'd better get hoovering, and then put the dinner on. Have left over spanish omelette (takeaway from Dad last night) with veggie burgers and courgettes.

    Take care everyone.

    sexymouse xx

Boddy - hugs. I'm glad your DD went though however difficult it must have been for her. And you. And GS. And the friends. 10 minutes is v. short but if that's what the parents wanted, it's easy to comment but difficult to understand.

Do you know what sort of seizure he had?

    How did the wake go?

Soappie. I dont know what kind of seizure he had. I only found out today that the seizures started a couple of years ago after a accident.

They didnt have a wake today as DD had been up most of last night. But his friends are going down to the churchyard on Sunday then getting together.

DD has just rang to say his sister called with a thank you card for all she has done for him and a thank you ornament thing with really nice words on. But she said other people had helped over the years and why her.

Tomorrow Im tackling the spare room.

1 bag everything that needs to go to the charity shop.

2 Make up bed but first remove carp so I can do this.

Mainly be ruthless and get rid of as much as I can.

sexymouse - I am good thanks, and married life is fun :) I'll pm you a link to some photos! are you on facebook?

got my bits and bobs at the supermarket, and we had a nice spicy prawn stir fry for tea, DH is now doing the mince bit of tomorrow night's lasagne - 6 months tomorrow since we got married and DH's parents happen to be coming for dinner. He wanted to do some of the cooking which is nice - he does make a mean spag bol type thing. think I might stick some washing in and maybe hoover round then we'll watch a film or something later.

bit fed up as AF is completely up the creek since i changed pill - to cerazette which the dr seemed to think would be better...constant light bleeding for over a week now, only a week after the previous period. sorry if tmi, just fed up. DH says have to go to the dr but I don't know what they'll suggest as i can't go on the normal pill cos i've had migraines....

Boddy, I am pleased your DD got to go say goodbye and it must have been very sad to see to little being done for him. Someone I knew online lost her son on mothers day last year due to a seizure.. it was very sad.. she had almost lost him a few years previous as he has fallen into water after his seizure thankfully he was revived. It is terrible when any young person loses their life. I hope your daughter and her boys are ok.

Sexymouse.. it is DD2's birthday tomorrow so I needed to get a few things off the lost as I have to go purchase her a cake in the morning.. I haven't even done that! Terribly useless mother I am lol.. few more bits to cross off.. :D

:j Yey! I'm finished again. Dusted all of the light fittings in here after hoovering and dusted OH's DJ deck table too. Think that'll do for today - must go and get dinner. OH has man flu (caught from me - birdflu) and has just come in looking all pathetic, so I think that was his way of asking when dinner will be ready. :D
