This is my pet hate. At least you have the excuse of 10 people in your household. I only have 2.5 and I've got 3 jars of blooming jam opened

And why does 1 never have a lid?? ARGH!!

I have brought in 3 loads of laundry off the line..
    hung 2 loads out..
put 2 more loads in stripped the childrens beds
and have the next 2 loads of bedding ready to go in
Emptied and reloaded the DW.. that's nearly finished as well now and I have half a load ready to go in..

I have 5 loads that need folding but seeing as the children are driving me crazy we are going out for lemonade and chips.. I need to go buy DD2 a birthday cake and party food for tomorrow as well... and finish finding the bedrooms!

the est can wait an hour.. I doubt it will go anywhere!

Most of the washing is dry and put away, just two pairs of jeans finishing off. There's no sun here but it's really humid. I think the washing is steaming dry!

Dinner cooking, that's it for now.

My HHI turned into 1.5 hours -1 hour ironing, brought washing in, emptied and reloaded WM, washing on line and dinner done. I haven't mad much of a dent on the ironing pile though so still quite a bit more to do.

Anyone been to Camelot at Chorley? Is it worth taking my kids (nearly 5 & 6)?

Mudbath.. you can go catch up on the other 4 days worth of lists you neglected while mucking out the bedroom.. ;) .. you don't get off THAT easily you know!!
    ..

I've done EVERY list this week AND mucked out the bedrooms so nah nah nah nah nah!

I've had fun today instead. I've painted my toe nails, i've tinted my eye lashes and i've s/s bits of my gorgeous, clean house! :rotfl:

We're having a new addition to the family. Don't get too excited i'm not preggers. We've finally decided that after three years of DD begging for a hamster she can have one. She's got to buy the cage and we'll get her the hamster for working so hard at school all of last year. We're going to pick her up from brownie camp and then take her to the pet shop and tell her to choose which one she wants. I'm so excited for her :rotfl: :rotfl: . Speak later xx

I went about 5 years ago with DD, so she was about 10 and loved it. We also got a really good idea on accommodation as I was a single parent and it included the entrance to the park. I'd say go for it :D

:T well done you, don't suppose you fancy doing some of mine? What a lovely welcome back for your DD - the hamster and the clean room.

I have cleared the long term mess in the DR this week, but have just S&S'd everything else. Dealing with the dirty washing mountain now, and folding the clean stuff ready to put away.

I took the boys to soft play all morning which they really enjoyed and made a start on my first assignment for the interior design course. Looks a lot harder than I expected :o .

Back from cricket and the post office ralley - it is so hot I've said everybody needs to stay indoors now for next hour at least.

Going to have a quick cuppa and then do a bit more in the kitchen.

SSL thanks for that recipe - I was the one with elderflowers - i made cordial. The buns look fab - I just need to pinch some gooseberries off somebody - my bushes are too young - neighbours gave me some last year so fingers crossed. It has made me think I'll make a cake in a minute though.
