:D Soappie has a big grin on her face :D

The Red Arrows just flew over my house. I waved at them and I'm sure one of them waved back

Soappie is also very hot and slightly bothered. The humidity is really high here this evening. But, I've done Tesco this afternoon and put it all away so that's one weekend chore sorted.

Dinner is easy - for once the kids came up with a suggestion so it's HM beefburgers with salad and, if I can be bothered, home made wedges. If I can't, Tesco's finest oven chips! (Even though I have an O'Level in cookery, I've never been able to make my own chips successfully!)

The hairdresser has taken over the kitchen as DiL is having her hair coloured (quite why she wants her really lush black hair made any blacker I've no idea!) so I'm about to escape next door for a G&T and gossip for the duration.

    Evening all :hello:

Back from town about 2 hours ago and all I bought was an icelolly, lunch and an eyebrow pencil despite hitting about 12 or more shops :D:D Total spends for the day <£10 including a daypass on the bus :j:j I was thinking of going to the movies tonight, but there's not much on at a time I'll make :rotfl:

Time for me to go for a bath. Its sticky hot here, then I'm going to turn my bed back and think about doing some housework...its just too hot! :o

    Is it wine o'clock yet.

It is so hot here - kids have friends round and are soaking each other in the garden.

I also need a bath but I'm going to catch up on todays posts first.

    Evening everyone.

Thanks for all the hugs and thoughts etc for today.

DD nearly did not go as there was so much hassle over his family asking her. His cousins were angry because they couldnt go. There was only his mum, dad, brother, sister and gran. DD was the only non family there.

His friends and I stood on the street just down from his parents. There was no mourning cars or hearse. His family went in a taxi. No church service just a ten minute burial. I was so upset and angry for him that they couldnt give him a decent send off. It looks like he had a seizure and he was dead before he went into the water.

DD has coped very well and was fine when I left. GSs are ok and coping well.

Boddy how sad, I am glad your DD and GSs are coping and I am sure you are a great source of strength for them all.

It truely is too hot to fly - 30 degrees in my kitchen.

Kids all fed and washing up almost done.

I'm going to run a bath in a minute for DS3 and chat to mum whilst laying on the bed whilst he is in there.

    Evening ladies
Boddy - hope today was bearable for you and yours.

Had a fab surprise trip out to a lovely hotel where we had champagne with lunch then a leisurely stroll around the gardens before coming back home! Am now a bit squiffy and wobbly so please may I be excused from any more flying??

DH is feeling much better today so I will return to the bedroom rather than spending another night on the floor downstairs in order to avoid the lurgy that he had yesterday (hooray!) That together with the second instalment of Rupert makes it the end to a perfect day!

Promise that I will be a good gingergirl tomorrow and crack on with the lists!

    Hugs to all who need!
