Kids are in bed, DH has gone out and I'm ironing - I think I've got something wrong somewhere.

Mudbath - I think you're about the closest to me - we'll have to meet up somewhere in the middle and go out.

Okay, I'll go back to my ironing.

    Honeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyys I'm home!!!!

Good week, site wasn't the best, toilet/shower block could have done with being flyladied but we had our own in the caravan, boys got their money worth just in swimming. Weather was great apart from Thursday. DP got badly sunburned, he wouldn't listen when I said about sun lotion as he never usually burns, well he has learned now after the afternoon in the outdoor pool! Mountain of laundry plus some of the seats to wash from the caravan, DSs pullup leaked and he soaked through the lot, grrr! Caravan was flyladied this afternoon as soon as we got back so we could take it back to storage and get DP off to work, he actually helped clean it which suprised me aswell as doing all the car. Home 2 hours late after being stuck in traffic just a few miles from home so was a bit of a dash. Looking now for something from the 3rd :D

Anyway, I doubt I'll get much of a chance to catch up, so a big hug for all (especially boddy) and I am off to put another washer load in............
One day I might be more organised...........

Welcome home lil-me - glad you had a good time.

I'm still ironing - and there's still a great big pile - I don't know whether to leave it now or do another HH - my feet are aching though.

    I missed Lil-me too!

    Welcome home love.

Glad you had a good time. You must have done if you're planning to go somewhere else soon. Good on you hun - enjoy!

I am now seriously overcooked with the heat here. The wind freshened up a tad around about 6pmish for a couple of hours but it's now dropped down to zilch and the humidity is horrible.

I think I have a restless night coming on because of it all.

Thanks you, I missed you all too.

We'll hopfully be going 'somewhere' around the 3rd, but have to be back by the 8th, will find something somewhere. Prices seem to be a lot more expensive but suppose it's middle of the expensive season, even if it's just somewhere up the road, it's a break....Boys loved it, well sort of, getting DS1 outdoors is a battle, tried to encourage him with swingball :rolleyes:well of course he got bopped in the face with the ball. Pool of course kept him happy when it was quieter, and a park with sand. Ds2 likes being outdoors, there was a smaller play area next to where we were, I had to drag him in at about 10pm from on Thursday night. Met some lovely people inc a lady with more kids than pigpen  she had 7 of her 10 children with her.

We definately learned lessons being our first longer break with noone there to help. It's hard work with the caravan, not as easy as a self catering chalet holiday for example but we know we have somewhere warm, clean and dry to stay wherever we go plus a loo DS1 will use, which you can't guarantee elsewhere. The boys seem so much more relaxed as they have the familiarity of the caravan.

Must get to bed, I'm absolutely shattered and the boys are still rattling round up there, they had a sleep in the car on the way home. I best sort the dogs, put the laundry away off my bed and get myself to sleep before I doze off on the sofa. Must admit the caravan bed isn't very comfy and I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed! Night night ladies x

My eyes have gone funny - I've just ironed 7 red check dresses - I mean, why does she need 7 - she only goes to school for 5 days a week?

The ironing mountain is now about 2/3rds of the way up the chest freezer now instead of overflowing over the top. I've given up now though and am going to bed.

All being well we're off to Camelot tomorrow - I've got a ticket that gets us in for £7.95 each for tomorrow so think we'll probably take advantage of it.

    Night all
