May be worth checking with the ICO before you complain.

A few people have had this lately, so will be handy for some other people to know what they say sooner rather than later.

Ok, interesting email response from Next:
Dear Miss XXX
Thank you for your email. It is not the case that all debts are included in a bankruptcy. For example debts that weren't scheduled in time to allow to creditors to file a proof of claim or debts relating to credit obtained just before bankruptcy can be excluded. In fact there are over 15 categories of debt that are excluded from bankruptcy. At some point in the bankruptcy process a schedule of debts to be included in the bankruptcy would have been prepared either by yourself or your advisor. However as you are unable to produce this I will accept your email as confirmation that the Next Directory Debt was included and will make arrangements to have the date of default and date of partial satisfaction updated. I will write to you when this has been completed.
Yours sincerely

We know that some sorts of debts are not discharged by a bankruptcy. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!:rolleyes::rolleyes:
But ones from Next certainly are.
Evasive nonsense from Next, but the important thing is that they know they are in the wrong and have "caved in" in the final sentence.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

You frequently do with Next.
Actually, the phrase "Next Legal Team" is a joke in itself.:rotfl:

Hi,
Just a quick question..
I am aware that bankrupcy stays on your credit file for 6 years, but is that 6 years from date of bankrupcy, or 6 years from date of discharge?
Thanks,
Cheryl0
