Just spoke to a Jetabroad agent in Sydney. She is expecting an answer from the Airline by eop today and has promised to call to update everyone. Let's wait and see.

Called Jetabroad again as I have not heard from them as promised. Apparently it was holiday in states yesterday?? and they are expecting an answer today (whenever today is, bear in mind the time difference). Again promised to call everyone affected.

Please update thread if you have from Jetabroad?

    Regards,

Has anyone who got tickets from Expedia/Zuji/BestFlights travelled without any issues so far? I am concerned that they may ask for the fuel surcharge at the check-in desk (as someone mentioned)

I too have phoned up NWA and they are at a loss as to why Jetabroad have not paid for the flights. the agent said to me they are aware of the pricing mix up but as far as he was aware they have processed everyone of the requests. What I am worried about is that the agent says that this booking could fall off of the system at any moment because it was requested 5 days ago now, and usually they only keep requests for 3 days. Jetabroad better not screw this up.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
  • Hi Stoneman,
Thats more or less what i was told by NWA! i have emailed and told jetabroad.com about expedia.com ect but they dont seem to acknowledge it and reply with a genric email! The only other thing would be to phone jetabroad direct but due to price/time zones that might be a problem!

It appears that Alex Snead - jetabroad's founder and executive director also acted as Zuji's Executive Director of Strategy and Director of Operations so if Zuji are honouring the bookings jetabroad are well aware! http://www.jetabroad.co.nz/AboutUs/

Not travelling till oct, but just got off the phone to expedia as i still have no e-ticket number even though i have a booking confirmation (someone explain that to me as NWA couldn't understand it either)

Expedia stating NWA Rejected the ticket as the price was incorrect. The new price is essentially Doubled!!!

Did explain to expedia my conversation with NWA, of not understanding why the booking was not ticketed. Expedia said they will speak to NWA and see what they can do.Don't hold much hope, not looking good.

  • I went mad, I have booked for my family of 4 to go to Las Vegas on Dec 24th, Orlando on Feb 2009 and New York in April 2009. All via Expedia.com.au. I have received all the etix nos and also seat nos for the return NY flights (air france direct). Payment taken for all flights, huge credit card bill next month! I am very concerned now as to whether xtra charges will be asked for at check in!!!! Will have to call NWA/KLM. Air France etc to verify. Have also booked hotels for 6 nights in Las Vegas!
