An insight into how a trader can drum up that much debt in 2 years might be useful?? £500,000 of cutomers money, where did it go to, that is THE question??

It seems that like many companies who try to sell at prices that are too low to sustain the business, they have failed. But instead of selling at more realistic prices, and giving good customer service, they just continued to take the money from customers with no intention of delivering.

As garrypeers said, they are giving good honest on line sellers a bad name.

Don't necessarily agree with that ... there are plenty of people who sell items at very low prices, ie, lost leaders on many of their items and don't go out of business. I have purchased numerous items on the internet and NEVER been scammed like this. I appreciate that companies can get into difficulties and fail their customers, but this mob ??? can only see that they are crooks from the start. AGAIN, I ask, what happened to the £500,000 of customers money, because it NEVER went to the wholesalers. I know about the house and from what I've seen, it doesn't account for the last two years trading and I agree with previous posting £21,000+ a year salary doesn't fit the apparent lifestyle going on here. All that said Tim, you have posted some very good points, which ave not gone unnoticed. Many thanks.

Well one thing I don't know is if they started out trying to scam people, or they just ended up doing it when things turned sour.
  • The only reasonthat this company was set up was so that it could eventually be liquidated, there is no doubt about that in my mind.....it was so obvious when I spoke to the moron a couple of weeks ago on the phone that he was a fraudster, and also the dodgy names he kept giving to people, like he told someone he was called John John. It is obvious that he is an asian man, so why make names up if he is at all innocent...I gave him a load of grief and then he had the cheek to say to me, 'I havent done anything thats against the law'.
By the way I rang the police up yesterday again, and they tried telling me that it was a civil matter, but I wasnt having any of it this time. I stood my ground and said that I had spoken to the Official Receivers and that they ASSURED me that this was a criminal matter. So they rang me back after speaking to one of the seniors and they took all the details, although I could sense that they werent too hopeful. They gave me a crime reference number and I told them that I would get all the other victims to ring in, so unless we all ring in, they wont do much about it. But if they have lots of calls then they will HAVE to take notice
  • PS , I think that whenever the police do an investigation, they have to justify it to the seniors as these investigations can be costly for them so there has to be quite a few complaints for them to be able to justify the reasons for investigating
  • Hi millie,

can i ask by what method did you pay them?

    Thanks.
    Visa Electron
  • Just got in and had a message on my answer phone from Leicester police to ring them back, when I rang back they told me that all operators were busy but would ring back later because this actually looks like a criminal investigation and want to know more details from me. Please everyone keep ringing Leicester police the more people ringing the stronger the case.
Keep up the good work everyone. I will keep you posted when they ring me back. Sounds promising though.
  • Have just had a call from Leicester police, they tell me because they have had quite a few calls it will be dealt with as a criminal offence. Like I said can everyone please ring Leicester police.
  • Please everyone, ring Leicester police, the more victims that come forward, the more notice the police will take....also, another very important point which I forgot to make earlier is that when I spoke to the official receivers department they said that as well as ringing the police it is absolutely CRUCIAL that we write to PKF with our complaint also, otherwise it may be hard to to get evidence against FD.
I dont know the email address for PKF so if anyone knows where I need to send my email pls do let me know, thanks
