A really good morning to all of you and heartfelt kind thoughts to all of those in need of them right now...

I'm having a productive morning so far; got up at seven this morning when my Sweetie left for work, and put some washing on. I've now got some bagel dough proving and am shortly off to the Post Office to weigh an item I sold yesterday. I'm selling off loads of stuff that has until now been sitting around in the loft for ages, and all monies raised I'm putting aside to purchase new camping equipment, and therefore for holidays! I've so far raised £125.00, so I'm very chuffed with that! :j

Talking of which, I've also just booked our crossing with Eurotunnel, paying with Tesco Clubcard vouchers, so it feels like I haven't paid for it at all! Have also just contacted the campsite to book a place. If anyone can now tell me how to best arrange some good weather while we're there, I'd be grateful!

My workplace have up until now refused to let us work overtime (civil service - they can't bear to give us anything 'extra', and they refuse to acknowledge there's ever a problem!). However, they've finally admitted that we are somewhat understaffed and temporarily are allowing us to work five hours overtime a week; I did mine yesterday! If I can get an extra five hours a week for the next couple of months I'll be as pleased as punch and it'll pay for my holiday in September! Hurrah!

I'm at work later until 9pm, so tea will be whatever I can throw into my sandwich box!

I wish all you nice people a really good day! I always enjoy reading all the posts on this board, so keep up the good work! :T

    Morning all,

think antibiotics are definitely kicking in a bit, I feel better than I did yesterday but still a bit "blurgh". Will still be mainly lounging around on the sofa today... I might try & summon up the energy to get some herby granary dough going in the BM for some little rolls.

Martyn, great to hear from you & am delighted things are going so well - are you going to keep in touch with us once you're back "oop north"??? Would love to know how you're getting on :)
Celyn, take a deep breath & get yourself registered, I'm sure it won't be as bad as you think it will. Don't let your ex still rule your life ((hugs)).
Janny, good luck with finishing the essay, & hope the counselling goes ok.
    Betheebee, welcome home again.

(((((chrisca, penpin, aussie, betheebee, candygirl, celyn, lynseyann, jayward)))))) and everyone else who needs (sorry to those I have forgotten).

Time for a cuppa I think - I had one I could taste last night :) So am going to try again!!

Hi everyone, firstly a huge thank you for your comments and PMs yesterday - I made an appointment for tommorrow _pale_ I think I will write it all down before I go so I don't get mixed up /confused - I will have to explain everything - as they aren't going to be able to understand the fact I ended up with hospital referrals without my GPs say so unless I do. All I want is a certificate for stress that I can submit to University health and safety so my boss leaves me be. University H+S and the harassment officers have an extensive file on my boss already from former group members, so it's not like he doesn't already have a reputation. I would be coping fine if my boss left me alone (who TBH fits the criteria for a sociopath/psycohpath himself perfectly) - he's putting a massive amount of pressure on me to do things that aren't necessary and telling me I will fail my thesis if I don't get it done. But I still have time to write papers for him, obviously. The board of graduate studies tell me I have enough for two theses, my college told me I could have stopped working a year ago. I'm hoping to get a certificate, self refer to H+S and get them to tell him to go jump. I already have my forms signed, so he can't stop me submitting.

jannyannie - my ex is a psychatrist, which is why I always believed him when he said stuff like that. He would claim he was joking alot then say it was me getting it wrong (or - well, it's obviously just me getting it wrong because he's only trying to help  ) He did flatten my self-confidence hugely and looking back I honestly don't believe how I let it get like that before I walked out. So many little things, like I turned down a places at three medical schools (despite coming 9th in the country in one of the entrance exams with no revision) to come here with him instead as it didn't matter what I did because I was only amusing myself until marriage and children. I feel so daft for not seeing these things sooner. When I left I felt like I had woken up. :o

Nothing much happening here today - I just need to stay out of Dr Jeckyll's way and get on with stuff. Bread was fine, if a little err...different for being proved over two days :rotfl: Spagetti for tea if OH hasn't eaten it all or put sweetcorn in it _pale_ Norman the lettuce is getting larger, he obviously likes being in a pot on his own. :)

Have a good day all, cel x
