    Hi

Have only half read half of the thread if you know what I mean!

Been very busy with one thing and another and not totally caught up. Work during the day and doing washing etc and gardening in evening.

Talking of gardening - look at my post on the Greenfingered - I am so chuffed.

Love and hugs to everyone, especially those who are poorly, going through hard times etc. I do care.

Morning one and all, "Weary of Wareham" reporting back in :D

I've not been around much for the past couple of weeks as I've been doing lots of sorting out and figuring out where I'm going in life, and to that end, I handed in my notice yesterday to finish at the end of this month. The Boss tried to talk me into either staying for the summer holidays or at least coming back for the last two weeks in August but tbh, I've got a life waiting to be lived up in Yorkshire and the longer I leave it to head back up there, the worse I will feel. Soooooo, in a couple of weeks I shall, in the words of the classic Lindisfarne song, "Run for home" :j :j :j

As a result of this, I've got some engineering to sort out as I have to get two trailers up there, and as the law won't allow me to tow them both behind the motorhome, I intend to "piggy-back" one on top of the other. Once I'm up with my sweet girl in 'Ull, I'll put them both in storage and sort them as and when I can. All I need then is a job!! It's looking likely that I need to dust off my HGV licence and get back to driving 18-wheelers again

To say I'm a bit excited at the thought of going back up north is an understatement as I can't wait to be away from Dorset. Nice area though it is, there's no good memories for me down here and if truth be known, I'm a bit of a Viking at heart  :D

Back to work sorting out but my thoughts are with all those who are poorly or down with life. Take it from me that the sun does shine eventually. It might take time but it will return.

    Man try :D

There was no need for such extremes just cos I'm having a day down Bournemouth way in December :p We'll just need to visit Monkey World in the afternoon instead :D

    Evening everyone

    (((hugs))) for poorlies

Well as you know I had an interview this morning and.................I GOT THE JOB, I'm starting at 9 tomorrow. Strangest interview I have ever been to though, he is not sure how many hours, or exactly what I will be doing as he has never had an office bod before :rotfl:Still had to go to jobcentre as it was my signing day, all signed off now. :j

Its 4 months since I last worked and I don't know where the time has gone, still not got round to putting [strike]junk[/strike] unwanted items on ebay, cleaning the garden path, making new cushion covers :o BUT I have done a lot of lovely cooking/baking and also cut the food bill down by a third, all thanks to you lovely people :A

Would like to go out and celebrate tonight but OH is on a night out, so a HM curry portion from the freezer for me. Then a bit of HW as can't put it off till tomorrow now
whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

    Stopped smoking 20:30 28/09/11 :D

    Evening peeps
hope you are all well i`ve not posted for a couple of days but i have been keeping up with the thread.
I`ve spent the last few days in the garden and i`m pleased to say that the greenhouse is now up YAY! :j :j

If i had a couple more days off then i could probably get the garden finished but unfortunately i`m back at w*rk tomorrow with no day off for 7 days  then another 7 day stint before i get any decent time off.

For those of you who are wondering the little houndies paw is much better and hasn`t bled for a few days, it`s sore but ok now i think. Thanks for all your good wishes for her.

One of my neighbours has just been and delivered me his excess tomato plants so the greenhouse has some plants in now, if you read this Steve thankyou!!!!!

I`d better go and water the garden now then have a nice hot shower.

((((HUGS)))) for everyone today, congratulations Dazi on your new job.

Snowyowl - i`m sure something will be along soon, good luck!

    Catch you all later.

    Hi all

    DAZI CONGRATS:beer: !

KAAT-LADY WE DEFINITELY DON'T CALL BURDOCK STICKY BUDS, TO US IT'S CLEAVERS, SO I DON'T KNOW WHERE IT COMES FROM  . GLAD YOUR OH HAD HIS SHORTS ON, THOUGHT HE WAS NAKED FOR A MO.

I also love Terry Pratchett and I am quite distraught he's got dementia, particularly as I feel Tiffany Aching has a good few stories about her yet. I think i'm probably a younger version of Nanny Ogg.

Am very pleased with how the writing has gone today. Counselling was good, had no idea there was so much to talk about. Spoke to my boss and I am going back to work at the end of July.

CELYN90 hope you get things worked out. Most psychiatrists are quite odd but I've never come across one like your ex. mind you i think I'm quite odd being a psychiatric nurse. Hugs hon.

Hugs to anyone else who can use one. Off out to friends house for tea in a mo.

    Have a good night all.

Several times, to be honest. We find them an antidote to real life. We even identify with some of the characters - Mr LW is Ponder Stibbons, the techie wizard, and I'm Sgt Angua, the vegetarian werewolf.:rotfl:

Apologies to all who don't know what the heck I'm blathering on about, btw.
