    Evening Guys!

Haribo-Nice to hear from you and hope you had a great holiday.

Its OH's birthday today and he is still quite ill. He has gone to the GP today and he has a nasty infection and has been given steroids, antibiotics and a nose inhaler. He is feeling so fed up with himself. He was happy with his new trainers and Harry Potter DVD;s that he wanted on Blu-Ray....dont worry...I got a great deal and used money we had received from selling stuff...so in effect FREE;)

I feel totally useless today. Im not feeling very well and am just annoyed with myself that I cant look after DH as he does with me ALL the time:mad:.....Ive tried not to ask for any help yesterday and today but I had to twice....and it was for stupid stuff that I just couldnt do myself! It really gets to me on days like this and have been in tears alot today (without OH seeing).....f**k f**k f**k.....sorry...I needed to get that off my chest!!!!!

Oh Pen-Pin - I feel for you, as a very independent gal, I would hate to have to rely on folk and you have absolutely no option. As Twink says don't beat yourself up. Birthday wishes to him - you can make it up to him when he is feeling better. Hi Twink hope you and Kyle are OK.

Well done on the job Dazi.:T :T

Nice to see you back HJ - had to take over the postal corruption job on your behalf. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Snowy can sympathise with you, DS is going through the same at the moment, wants to move to be nearer GF as travelling to see each other is costing a fortune and limits time together. He is even considering a career path change - if only he knew which way to go where there were loads of jobs that paid well! Any ideas?:D:D

    Oh dearest PenPin

You just keep in there and don't feel guilty. You are a tower of strength and I think all of us on this board know what difficulties you and your dear family are going through. Your DH and DD are wonderful and I am so sorry his birthday hasn't been the best. Don't feel guilty about asking for help.

Happy birthday Mr PenPin and hope you feel better soon.

Love and hugs to you all.

    Hi Kaat

You must have been in the same area as me! I can look over to Fife and on a clear day the scenery is brilliant. Lomond and Largo Law - beautiful!

    Hiya

Penny pincher don't be so hard on yourself. It sounds like despite being ill, your OH has enjoyed his birthday.

I've not been on here for what seems like ages...just been so busy!
I've been busy with church stuff/sunday school stuff and I've had tons of work at school to do. We had our graduation last week which was a huge success and we broke up today for the summer hols!:j I came home with 5 bottles of wine, 10 boxes on chocs and various smellies, pen sets and flowers. :D Even though the school is in a 'challenging' area, the parents are very appreciative and generous.

DH finishes on friday and the girls both finish on monday. Then we're off to Australia on wednesday for 4 weeks.:j I've spent most of the evenings looking on the internet for apartments in Sydney. We'll be spending most of the time at my brother's in Perth but we're going over to Sydney for a week too. When we return we'll be back to some serious moneysaving for the next 12 months and next year's camping trip to Ireland will be paid for using tesco vouchers for the Ferry and £2 savings and some Ebaying.;)
I'm off in to town tomorrow to meet my mum for lunch, get some aussie dollars, buy a superlambanana for my brother and get the last of DD1's uniform. Then I've got a meeting in church in the evening and DD1 is going swimming with the Guides.
Right I'm off for a shower as I'm pretty dusty and sticky after giving my office in school a good tidy up. The lady I job share with has retired and it's given me the opportunity to clear out stuff and finally have a tidy and organised office and desk.:rotfl:

Big ((((HUGS)))) for Pen-Pin and Mr Pen-Pin, plus birthday wishes for Mr Pen-Pin.

Congratulations on the new job Dazi!!

I've had insomnia-by-proxy for the last couple of nights, OH has been crashed on the sofa all day. Still I'll be able to cope if he's restless again tonight as I know I'm on my own weds and thurs night so can definitely sleep then!

I'm quite pleased with myself, I had to get milk on my way home and very nearly bought pizza because I couldn't be bothered to cook, then I remembered the chilli "ready meal" in the freezer! So that was tea. I need to replenish my stock though as we're all out of HM ready meals now. I also managed to empty the dishwasher, clean the kitchen, water the pots and put some washing away. I'm going to join OH on the sofa now and indulge in a custard tart (well I had to treat myself to something from Tesco and it was reduced!!!:D).

    Take care everyone
