Hello everyone,
Sorry i havnt read the thread yet today, will do that in a moment, but huge :grouphug: and :hello: to everyone xx
Took the children to see WALL E yesterday morning, we had free tickets and it was much better than i thought it was going to be. We then spent a couple of hours going around the supermarkets picking up bargains!!
Today, i was meant to have a LO here, but hes not well, and unfortunatly it means im not earning anything - its very quiet for me still at the moment, but luckily i do have those 2 new ones, just a shame its not a few more hours. Things should be better in September tho when the baby starts.
So, ive done my daily clicks, caught up with the competitions and ive just been and cleaned the bathroom and toilets - next job is the kitchen!!!
Oh, had my weigh in yesterday, and after 3 weeks staying at 10st 4lb, im now 10st 2lb so feeling much better about that - only another 4lb to go!!!
Think i had better get cracking with the kitchen before going to pick up the children - hope everyone has a lovely day.
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Squiggly - forgot to say we have loads of experience here of kidney infections, Cranberry is good but so is plain old water - lots of it.
Catowen - congrats on the weight loss :beer:0 -

Well my LO is disabled and we applied for a holiday thru the family fund months ago, well they rang up and send they would send us some thomas cook vouchers out int he post. Great......... that was about 3 months ago. Still hadnt recieved them this morning so I thought I would give them a call.
They have sent the vouchers out on the 16th May to my old address (we havent lived there for over a year) So they gave me another phone number to call for a company they use to send all there vouchers out. I rang them and they said yes, they sent them out, a person signed for them on the 17th may. They're just trying to find out the name of the person who signed for them. Meantime I have been round and knocked on the door of our old house and they say they dont know anything about it.

Had the first of my antibiotics earlier, only 3 days worth & 2 tablets (not giant capsule bullets J ) a day so that’s not too bad. Been in bed up until this point today (except for trip to doc at 9.20). I think I feel fractionally better but not sure… My little brother phoned to ask if he can pop by shortly so I can help him sort out his finances… (and tomorrow my mum wants me to do hers!!). At least it got me out of bed. Have definitely gone off tea & food, so I know I’m not well Thank you Essex-Girl, I have given up on the cranberry, couldn’t bear the taste. I’ve got some lemon barley instead. Its weird as I want a cup of tea, but every time I get one I can’t drink it L
Candygirl, my exOH thinks the same – 6 years after we divorced…. (and he’s since remarried, left her & just gone back to her…). He really does not get it. I just ignore him as much as possible. Which is easier said than done!!!!!
Redruby – courgette bread.. hmm… not sure about that? But then I like carrot cake so maybe it’s nicer than it sounds??
KaatLady, I was the same as Redruby & EssexGirl – plasterer, bra & pants, etc… Interesting life you lead, lol!! I’m sure Aussie will have something to say later if she feels up to being online.
Dazi, good luck with the interview tomorrow J
Catowen, well done on the weight loss, that’s really good going. Glad you enjoyed the film too – shame about the LO but fingers crossed it picks up soon for you.
WinniePooh, that’s awful  – hope you manage to get it sorted. Seems a little odd that nobody knows – ask if you can see the signature of the person who signed?Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0 -
Afternoon all,
Hugs to all in need or want,
Out early to have OH fitted with his heart monitor thingy, back same time to-morrow to have him disconnected (!) and then to consultant on 14th Aug...only € 190 out of pocket to-day, if this goes on much longer he is going to have to go to public hospital, although he is not happy about that, as waiting lists can be long....don't think that there is likely to be anything he needs done so he will have to be satisfied, can't understand people who can add and subtract but not know what the answer is...that's the only way to describe OH!
Warm but overcast here to-day, we all had lunch with SIL after hospital which was nice, don't see her very much since she and my brother split up and we have always been good friends.
Having Tbone steak for dinner...treat for OH to try to keep him calm. Not really my favourite dinner but I will have a small piece with lots of veg and potatoes.
DD4 and DGS2 back this evening...haven't seen them for almost 8 weeks so really looking forward to that...he keeps ringing saying how much he misses me, will probably not be talking to me 5 minutes after his return...men!
Have a good day all

Afternoon everyone, been busy as usual, so sorry for not popping in, hugs to those that need them.
Kaat :rotfl: :rotfl: at the plasterer
Dazi - best of luck with your interview
Candygirl ((hugs)) for you
Squiggly and Aussie - hope you feel better soon
I forgot to cook the bread I made last night and it looked like a monster from a sci-fi B-movie this morning. Didn't really have time to do anythig with it so poked it until it sank then went to work. I have a feeling it is going to be sunning itself in the lounge when I get back. I started at 7 am this morning, my prep won't finish until 10 pmso I'm stuck here a while.
Our director of grad studies has told me he really wants evidence of my bosses behaviour so they can protect me - I didn't ask for this, he's just really worried about me because of the way Dr Jeckyll acts and approached me independently about it - he is right, I've just been taking it for years because he's not worth my breath to fight back. He's advised me to tape conversations with him in future; so I took his advice today and he excelled himself in our meeting and gave me everything I needed to get him off my case for good - hopefully. That, plus a demanding e-mail and txt messages should be enough. The grad studies director has also offered to be my second referee an academic who works in Denmark is now my primary referee; my forms all are signed and he's dopne all the other bits my supwervisor is supposed to do. So I don't need him at all for anything, but he just has to let me be.
I tried to register with a new GP practice today but was told I lived too far away - I haven't been to the doctors for 3 years - mainly because I had quite a serious problem a while ago and my former partner pretty much refused to let me seek medical help at the time - preferring to make referrals himself for me when and with whom it suited him, which made me rather nervous about being seen. I had to tell Dr Jeckyll what had happened a few years ago and even now he still throws it back at me and I can't cope with him dragging my past up all the time at work - I would be fine if he didn't keep reminding me how good he was, but now I had to stop taking advantage of his good nature (I had three days off at the time - and that was from my holiday entitlement rather than going off sick). I wanted to see someone to ask for help - and this particular practice had been recommended by a friend who is similarly nervous; so was quite upset they couldn't see me. I registered with the one down the road, but I'm not sure I can pluck up the courage to go and see someone without knowing if they will listen or not. I should, I need to, but I'm not sure I can. *sigh* I think it takes a while to be able to talk if you spent years being told you couldn't
Other that that, not much else is going on. I made berry muffins from a recipe on here last night and they worked really well. cel x:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0
