Hi to everybody
Hugs to all who need them x
Chrisca you sound like you're coping really well (( hug))
At work today ( covering for sickness) finish at lunch time though so will do a quick tidy up and have my lunch watching the last Dr Who episode (David Tennant and John Barrowman - phwoar!!)
was hoping for a NSD but DD (14) has decided she needs more make-up -
even though her cupboard seems to be bulging with lipgloss and bottles of stuff:rotfl:
need to go get back to work :rotfl:0 -
Morning all:D And a beautiful sunny one here too.
Shez:hello: Get watering girl, can't have droopy busies:rotfl: The forecast is good for the whole week, as in dry. That'll make a change:rolleyes:
stefejb, I can't believe you'll be in work today. You've got shingles:eek: Are you superwoman;) Happy Birthday to your DD19. And hope you feel better soon.
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Miss tired mum. (see age-appropriate birthday greetings today:rotfl: )
I've been to the gym today:D That was a pause for applause you know;)
I'm going to Bluewater in a little while ( no need to applaud that:D ) so there'll be precious little OS done here today. Dinner will be some forgotten treasure from the freezer. I'm not going to root around too much, it's going to be hand thrust in, grab, and that's what we're having:D
Hope you have good days, and ((hugs)) for the poorly or sad.
CM xYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Good morning all. Eldest DD is camping on D of E award scheme for 3 days this week. As I posted on yesterdays thread this morning (doh) she has taken full make up and her friends have taken gas hair straighteners...
Hope they have fun.
So far today I have emptied girls bedrooms of cups and glasses, dw is on wm is on. Lounge is in some semblance of order but by no means finished.
We are haveing a 'left overs and freezer emptying week' this week. Freezers are full to capacity and DD who hasn't gone away is easy to feed and not fussy.
The weather has turned today. It was gorgeous yesterday. We did a car boot and made £135, of course it is all spoken for. I went ot asda yesterday afternoon. OH and I can fill our cars with fuel now and DD got £10 for helping-so that's it all gone just about. I was really good in Asda too, I took £35 with me and only spent £31-so I was very impressed. I spend much less when I only take what I can actually afford and don't use my cards. i find it all too easy to justify over spending-and that's not good!!!
Anyway I need to go into wo*k in a short while.
(((hugs))) Chrisca, so sorry to hear of your sad loss.
(((hugs ))) to smoky, pen-pin, candygirl and everyone else who needs or wants one.
Right, better go and get organised!!!

Morning everyone
Have just caught up with the weekends threads.
Sorry to hear of your sad loss Chrisca, hope you can get some things sorted out today.
We went to cinema to see Mamma Mia on Saturday, great film, all ages there and all ages coming out singing (does anyone remember when it wasn't actually cool to say you liked ABBA) :rotfl:
Managed to have a BBQ yesterday although the sun had gone in by then. Just got the usual after weekend tidy up today. Will have to sort myself out a weekend bag as we are going to a truck show next weekend, great, I get to sleep on the top bunk in OH's waggon

Morning all,
Still feeling really blurgh…. managed to get up to the doctor’s earlier & got some antibiotics to start on. Don’t know whether to rub my tummy or my back L Drinking cranberry juice – hideous stuff, so changed to lemon barley. No idea whether it will help a kidney infection but more fluid can’t do any harm I’d have thought. Gone off tea at the moment anyway L Said to my Dr I was going to get started on my healthy eating/ exercise this week & he said feeling “blurgh” was no excuse, lol!! (He was joking, he’s very nice).
((((candygirl, chrisca, penpin, betheebee, smoky, poppyoscar, jayward))))) and all those I have – not intentionally – forgotten.
Kathy, glad you DH is back ok. Joannasmum (I think..) hope you manage to get your childcare sorted for DD. Candygirl, what on earth is wrong with your exOH???? Does he not think you’ve got enough on your plate???
SOMO1’s DD – good luck for sports day, great weather for it J Hester (and all others in school) not many days of “school shoes” left J J Poppy, good for you not getting into the mind games, just keep yourself busy & look after you. Aussie, hope you start to feel better soon too.
Stefjb & TiredMUm happy birthday to your DDs! JackieO, glad to hear you are doing well, ((hugs)) for today’s anniversary.
Apologies to anyone I’ve forgotten, finding everything a bit of an effort at the mo. Hopefully antibiotics will kick in quite quickly & I will feel brighter.
