Hi, this is my first time doing this so sorry if i go on. I am worried out of my mind and making myself ill about this. I remortgaged about a year ago and immediately got into trouble with arrears. I was given a repossession date but managed to get a loan to pay off the arrears. The hearing was still heard even though i didn't go and I had a letter saying it had been "shelved". I then stupidly got into trouble again. They wrote to me asking me to fill out in income and expenditure form, which i did and immediately started paying and offered them £50 a month extra towards my arrears. I didn't hear back and then got a letter asking for arrears in full or it would go to court. I wrote back and asked if they could please give me a chance. The next thing I got a letter from the court saying the hearing had been restored. I have continued to pay as i said i would (the last 3 months) but i have to go to court next Monday. Can anyone please give me any sort of reassurance. I am a single mother of 2 children and I could not bear it if they took my house. I am really really trying. Thanks

First thing to do is speak to one of the debt charities in my signature first thing tomorrow morning.
For tonight a good start would be to do a SOA http://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html
That way any night owls can have a look and you'll have all the details ready for tomorrows call with the charity of your choice.
I take it there is no way of raising the arrears that you owe them?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

            Hi Jules,
I'm new on here too, and I'm not an expert on this, however I have replied to you to keep your thread near to the top and somebody will be along soon!
Iknow its easy to say, but please dont worry, I'm sure they have to issue default notices etc
You have come to the right place here and you will find lots of help!
Good luck!

            Thanks Guys
I will try to get my soa on, but im not very good on the computer. I owe them £2600 which is approx 3 months arrears plus a lot of added expenses. I offered them £50 a month towards the arrears which they neither accepted or rejected - they just reinstated court proceedings. I have sent this tho since May along with my monthly payment.0 -
hi mumjules welcome, dont worry about not being good on the computer, im not either!
i cant help on the court advice sorry as not been there but MrsTines advice was good for start and im sure others could help in the morning
keep us updated on your progress and i hope to help on your soa and with support xI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
Ok we need the SOA to see what can be done - I think £50 on a £2600 arrear is pretty low in fairness... especally if this is the second time you have missed payments in a year... so at least 4 (probably more) missed payments in a year in total?
We really need those numbers to see what can be done and what the likelyhood is of us finding a feasible solution...
You will also need the numbers for tomorrow when you call CCCS or CAB etc... Better to get them done tonight
