My problems started years ago. I have always buried my head in the sand. This is a massive wake up call for me and I know now what i need to do. I am just so so worried i have left it too late and i will lose my house. I am waiting for a call from the CLS for some legal advice. Mrs tine, i understand what you are saying about telling my mum and dad, but i really would rather keep this burden to myself if i can. Although i am thinking more and more that choice will be taken out of my hands. I just need some reassurance that i will be given that chance. I do struggle alone with the kids, but i too flipping stupid and proud to burden anyone else with it. This is a massive help.

    Hello

Do you have any bits and pieces you could sell through Amazon/Ebay or car boot sales? It may not make a huge difference but it could give you the money you need for your holidays. Try looking at the make £10 a day thread for more ideas.

    Hi Alphie

I do use ebay now and then, but lately i just haven't been able to focus on anything. Sorry to sound so pathetic. This wake up call will hopefully force me to sort myself out once and for all x

I know you don't want to tell your parents but if one of your children were stressing out and scared all the time about loosing their home... even if you couldn't help wouldn't you rather know?
My dad knows about our debts, my mum kind of knows but not the exact extent as she has her own problems, but it means I don't have to make up excuses for flying back once a month to see everyone etc.
Who BTW are CLS? Sorry it's early and I'm not quite up to speed yet :)

I'm just thinking about any potential court case. If you can show that you *are* on top of things now, it must surely work in your favour for keeping the home? The more focus you have now, the better for that - and that includes doing this. I'd echo Mrs Tine about who CLS are (also early here ... :) ) - check the links in her sig - if you use this as a wakeup call - ebay, Boost Your Income, the July £10 a day challenge, it will all help, believe me. As will very strict daily budgetting - its staggering what can be cut back, at least for a little while. That sounds kind of gloomy, I know, but especially since you have kids, you can make a game of it. Hope the phone calls go well today.

    Morning MrsTine.

CLS are a free government funded legal advice service - their details were on the court letter. They advise you if you are legible for legal assistance. I rang them Friday and was advised i qualified and i would get a call back. I am going to also call the CAB this morning as you advised and see if they can help in anyway - if only i hadn't buried my head in the sand for so long it wouldn't have come to this. Bit late now for "if onlys". I really do appreciate all your advice

Ahhh right :) If it's free it's cool :) Sorry just hadn't heard of them before and was worried it was a fee paying company that wouldn't be acting in your interest :)
