    Same hapenned to me. I got a contract in July as a retentions offer after trying to leave PAYG - I'm on Dolphin 10 Web Promo. They charged me these extra charges and I definitely was not sent a text - just call them and they cancel it and refund you :)

    Thanks I'll get oh to call as contracts are in his name. When i tried to look through paperwork I can't even find anything in writing from them stating what the deal was any way. just a letter confirming the date of direct debit so glad i asked as wasn't really sure what we had signed up to.

    Phoned today to cancel this as my daughter is continually going above her 150 minutes and 300 texts through the day. They have offered me 400 minutes and unlimited texts any time of the day for £10 so happy to stay meantime.

    The thread may be, but the offers are still going - see http://shop.orange.co.uk/mobile-phones/plans/simPlanList.jsp?cmsPageId=02500 for more details.

    Dolphin 10 SIM - £9.78/month
    100 minutes, 500 texts, 18 month contract

    Dolphin 15 SIM - £14.68/month
    200 minutes, unlimited texts, 30 day contract

    OR

    300 minutes, unlimited texts, 18 month contract

    Failing those, Vodafone have a good few deals at http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/sim-only-plans/all-sim-plans - including:

    £10 per month for 100 minutes, 500 texts on a 30 day contract;
    £15 per month with 600 minutes and unlimited texts on a 12 month contract;
    £15 per month with 200 minutes, unlimited texts on a 30 day contract

    Hope that helps.
