can anyone tell me if you are sent a bill each month, 'racoon 10' and are you charged extra
or is that only if you ask for itemised bills?
i know you can check online to see what you have used up and your latest bills but wondered if you are also sent a bill.
    thankyou

Argh! I saw this for a fleeting few days before it changed back to £15 per month (which is what I'm on now), and it's now past the 31 July, so it looks like I'm out of luck.

It's certainly not been my year at all.

The offer did not expire on the 31st, it's still running.

Quick question, my daughter has 2 mins left but also 47 video minutes, how does she use up the video minutes, does it depend on the phone?

Thanks - I just called to make sure the "30 Minute Video Calling Try" bundle I had on my Dolphin 15 plan doesn't become billable in the next month (like the Orange World Try plan they gave me last year, although in fairness Orange credited my account after I explained they gave me no warning this would suddenly become billable), and all things going well - I hope - I should be transferred onto the Dolphin 10 plan from my next billing period.

I'll come back here to let you all know, but in the meantime, thanks everyone for saving me £5 per month!

one point to be ware of with orange is they wouldn't let you set a credit limit and their data rates are a bit of a bait and switch, rater than cut you off if you exceed the allowance they will just keep billing you at a massive rate.

now i have only used 17meg but without the ability to cap this bill i am seriously considering switching to a different company, while i am unlikely to end up like some of the monkeys that get £41,000 monthly bill i still worry about an app i install on my phone going nuts.

frankly i thing that sort of billing practice should be illegal, expect to see lots of cases of massive phone bills in the paper when orange get the iphone later this year.

In my experience the capping has only annoyed me because it has worked the other way around - Orange put the capped "Orange World daily capped usage" on my account (which costs a maximum of £1 per day that data is used, regardless of the amount of data used in that day - hence the "capped"), which meant that when I received a short MMS message last month, I had to pay £1 for the privilege of doing so; but conversely, if I for some reason wanted to go mad with data usage, I can do so knowing that the most it'll cost me is £1.

Ideally, it'd be good if I could just bar data services on my phone, because I never use them.

I've just looked at that and it appears to be an 18/24 month contract

whereas the NOTW offer you can cancel at any time giving 30 days notice.

Thats just an ad placed to try and get you to take a long contract.

The £10 a month sim card only ,30 day contract , Racoon 10 and Dolphin 10 offers are now permanently available, together with the other sim card only deals.
