Do you have to pay by DD?

Or can I pay monthly via credit card?

    Seems like a cracking deal

You have to pay by DD.

Ah right, I just saw this bit..

Want to keep the phone you've got? Our new SIM-only plans are great value and flexible too — you just sign up for one month at a time

    The banner confused me!

I think Orange used to have a facility to turn it off and instead have a text with the number of the person who tried to call in, but I'm not sure if they still do.

Why would you want to turn it off anyway? I'm fairly sure I've never been charged for calling it (i.e. the inclusive minutes in the package seem to cover the answer phone as well).

I might have to leave myself a voice message and check my bill because I'm sure I've been getting it for free within the inclusive minutes - unless that's something separate that Orange forgot to cancel when I migrated from the old Student 19 plan...

If you divert incoming call,s ,do Orange allow them out of your inclusive minutes?

this is what orange told me

I can advise that if you divert an incoming call to an Orange user, you will be charged for the time involved with the divert as Orange to Orange, or Orange to fixed landline perhaps, which will come out of your minutes, subject to the tariff that you are on.
I can confirm that the service is free if the call is diverted to the Orange Answerphone. If the divert is to an Orange number or standard landline number, you will be charged for the diverted leg of the call and it will come out of your inclusive minutes. Calls diverted to other numbers will be charged according to service plan charges

    I went for Racoon £10.

    1. will they automatically put costly extras on and if so how do I remove them
    2. how many minutes is unlimited minutes
    3. will I get paper statements and will I pay for these?

It would be nice if they could have sent me documentation answering these questions with the SIM card but never mind. Their website only seems to want you to find answers to the questions it wants you to ask.

    I'm on this plan.

There are no costly extras on top of this plan.. You do get 30 Free Try Video Mins for 2 months but these just drop off your account unless you want to keep them on so i've been told by Orange.

Unlimited minutes are to landlines off peak - no limit as far as i know.

You will get paper statements but if you want them itemised it will cost £1.50 per month
