I've been into the shop and rung them a few times but they just say "no" because it's not a "contract" as such or rather, I don't pay rental.
Oh wants a Samsung 600 which is a bit expensive for us!!
hopefully ill remember and ill double check at work tomorrow, otherwise option is to get it on PAUG and and just pop your sim inYes Your Dukeiness0 -

Cost The package
£35.00 240 Mins
£40.00 300 Mins
£45.00 400 Mins
£55.00 600 Mins
£75.00 900 Mins
Is the plans 120 mins for £25 and 60 mins for £19 removed and not available for existing customers?. I got my contract in March just before Orange introduced Animal Plans.
basically the core plans are the old planes but with new t+c's they have removed the lower ones you cant get them anymore and you cant get the animal tarrifs without signing a new contract/upgrading. you can only change to the core plans which are as stated aboveYes Your Dukeiness0 -

I know I could get handset or payg but the phone is a bit expensive for us, even 2nd hand on ebay are £140 up.
I need one for much less!!0 -
reehsetin wrote:you wont share the mins or texts cant do that except on a business plan!
instead you get unlimited free calls between you and it all has to be under 1 persons name
So how does it work? Can you get 4 phones with free calls between them plus inclusive minutes that are used by just main contract holder and have to pay for all other calls? What about a business tariff? How much would 4 handsets and say 200-300 mins plus 500-1000 text be? Would calls in group be free?
Thanks for your help.:TI have a cunning plan!

nah you all get say 200mins each just the bill will be all together (but will be headed under each number) but when you ring each other it wont come out of your 200mins you can get 4 phones max of 8 think 4 conts and 4 paug
business tarriff you have to have proof of business like purchase order
the company pays a set fee say £20 a month (cant remember the actual costs, if you go in store they have a business only mag with everything laid out) then each sharer pays say £12 each
and again you get free calls between sharers that doesnt come out of your free minsYes Your Dukeiness0 -

So could I have 1 contract phone and 3 PAYG? what would the costs be?
Do you have a coverage map as well please?I have a cunning plan!

whatever tarrif you go for on the contract + £10pm for each PAUG will be added onto your bill, then if they need any more credit they just top up as usual
so on a £25 a month tarrif with 3 paugs total bill per month will be £55

I was pleased to discover this thread, so in the hope of al ittle insight can I ask three things ?
I am coming to the end of two 12 month OSPS Orange contracts and would be quite happy to stay with Orange. I have - to date - found their customer service to be good and I have no complainrs. However, I am naturally tempted by the lure of a cost free 12 months contract from a competitor network through another retailer.
Here are the 3 questions :-
1. If I do a number port at around 11.5 months, will I atill get a 12 month bill covering the full 12 month period. I have been told by Orange CS that I will, but I am twitchy about getting my final OSPS cashback.
2. If I wanted to stay with Orange what - realistically would be the best deal I could expect to be offered. Someone on here wrote about some extraordinary renewal deal he was offered by Orange: something like £20 pm for 12 months, with 500 mins and hundreds of text, plus a phone selling on Ebay for upwards of £250 and therefore effectively zero cost for the 12 months. I am not a heavy user and rarely exceed my included minutes, so I don't know if I am the sort of customer Orange wants to keep ...
3. Can I port my Orange number from an existing OSPS Orange contract to a new Orange contract through a different reseller ?
Thanks for your help !0 -
Hi, I am on wanadoo broadband & thinking of changing my mobile to orange to take advantage of the "free" broadband if you take a £30 pm orange mobile contract.
My question is: if I buy the phone via a cashback deal and not direct through orange, will I get the broadband deal?0 -
