hi there
i currently have wanadoo/ orange broadband. if i take out a contract with the cpw on a 18mth £30 contract am i entitked to the broadband free? or does it have to be a contract started through an orange shop?0 -
hi chaps, sorry if this has already been mentioned (im too idle to spend 2 days reading the last 15 pages!!:p ) but I've just been given a bit of a shock from orange.
many moons ago i bought the orange out here package (the one which gives you 5 texts a day for nowt which saves £££££ over a year!!) and I've carried it and the phone number over to the new phones I've bought since. as my old lg1100 was gettin on a bit i bought a x700 last saturday on the understanding that this service would continue, after all the chap in the orange shop said it would.
anyway upon realising that I've been in fact charged for the texts id sent since the weekend i telephoned orange and the lass informed me, because it is so old, the gadgies in tech support are having trouble maintaining the service and have basically given up trying to keep it.
fair enough the lass gave me the 1.00 or so which i had spent and offered to give me the 20 quid it originally cost me but thats not the point! if i was told i was about to lose the texts id have stopped with my old sim and phone!!
anyway, as the saying goes buyer beware!!0 -

You have been given incorrect information by an Orange Muppet. The original Out Here package still works fine and can easily be transferred when you upgrade to a new handset. I have one and the handset has been upgraded several times. The Out Here package is added to your account (number) and when buying a new handset, the existing account is simply transferred to the new SIM upon registration. This package is worth £219 per annum to you so you should insist that it is re-instated to your account!

My Orange phone is working fine and still only in 4th month.
Is this a new way of stopping us seeing the FREE itemised bills online????.
Anyone else has the seen the same message?0 -
I'm on PAYG but prices are the most expensive - I'm on the choose your own off peak price plan but I'm sure they must have a cheaper one now?? I don't make many calls at all but the off peak band is useful to choose...0

I manage an independant shop and am giving it to customers. The official line is you have to go direct but i've just rang customer services and they've given it free to all my customersIt is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt
