Morning peeps
I don`t quite know what the weather has in store today as it can`t seem to make it`s mind up, sunny one minute and dark the next, i think i`ll chance the washing though as i`m in for most of the day so i can dash out and grab it if it rains.
I plan on cleaning the upstairs today and maybe putting a little more of my green house together, it really needs two pairs of hands though so i`ll have a look at the next set of instructions and take it from there.
Cottage pie for tea tonight with peas but no idea what`s for pudding, in fact scrub that we can have strawberries from the garden, i`l rummage in the cupboard to see if there`s anything in to have with them.
Chrisca - I am so sorry to hear of your loss ((((HUGS)))) for you!
Katiesmummy - congratulations to your bessie mate!:T
N9eav - Thanks for the recipe.
Sistercas - hope you feel better soon
Rchddap - Hope the little one is better soon

Good morning all, I hope things get better. *big squeezy hugs to Chrisca* I'm really sorry to hear of your loss. I'm thinking of you.
So far in overcast Peterborough it is, well, overcast, but I'm hoping for the rain to hold off for my shopping mission today. I am going to get swatches and samples of fabric for my wedding dress, and look at the various places I can get a pattern from so I can have a bash at making it myself. Plus, I'm going to have a look around the market while I'm in town and try to get some bargains.
It's odd. I got some of the 50p chicken from Morrison's on their price crunch, and all of my colleagues were agog with amazement. Since then, they've been almost 'competing' as to who can get the best bargain! My boss came back with meat from the wagon at the market, and the whole office is happily planning what they'll do with their spoils! I got some tomato seeds for next year after the pasta sauce I made last night was a success. Here's hoping!
Anyway, must look at the other threads before I get in the bath (we've not got a shower) and head into town. May something randomly wonderful happen for everyone today *hugs again*

Morning all,
was just going to skim & not post till later as feeling very groggy (minimal sleep due to prom night as predicted - DD & her mates came in about 12.15am, out again to another party, then back around 2.30am & were chatting till gone 5am...). Also woke up with tummy/back acheDon't know why, has eased a bit now. Will post properly when I am more "with it", but just wanted to say
Chrisca (((((((((hugs))))))) to you and your family. What a shock for youYou know where we all are day or night if you want to 'talk'. Take care and you are in my thoughts.

Morning Everyone
Chrisca I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm sure its not much consolation but at least she peaceful at home.
DD is going to see her cousin in her ballet show with my MIL. She has been awake for a couple hours and shes so excited. She knows that she can go in September for lessons aswell so next year she will be in the show aswell.
While shes out I'm going to tackle the toy box and ditch all the broken and outgrown toys. Does anybody else worry about the amount of stuff there children have? DD is bought very little by us but always seems to be getting some sort of tat from my in-laws.
I'm currently debating whether to put out my washing yesterday was so damp and it looks like more of the same today. I'm just fed up of this weather and starting to wish we had booked a holiday abroad after all.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -

Course we missed you :A and I knew it was you from your avatar (sorry - you'll remember that "rodent identification" isn't amongst my skills).
DD is off on her expidition. DH has gone shopping while DS is at swim club. I've got sun dried tomato and olive bread proving, and will be baking a chocolate cake, fruit cake, and batch of fork biscuits (dried cherry and vanilla, possibly - will go to the pantry and try for inspiration).
We're planning a long bike ride (with a pub at half way :T ) this afternoon - DS loves cycling, but DD isn't keen, so this is an excellent opportunity.
Welcome back, troooooooooooooo, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0
