Whats the difference between Climasmart/Outlast and Coolmax?

Do they all work in stopping you get to hot and does a matress protector nulify there effectiveness?

Sorry for all the questions but my current mattress has lasted 9 years so havent done this for a while!

Our friend bought one of these for her son and he was bored of it in about 6 months so she had to fork out for a new bed.

We looked at novelty and then went for Cabin style instead so he has a desk to put his toys on and a den underneath (he's only 4 1/2) just got the bed off e-bay (in near perfect nick) for £49 and will just buy a new mattress -Prob from an online retailer.

Coolmax just takes the moisture away from your body. Climasmart and Outlast ar far more advanced and actually control the temperature. Outlast is called Thermocool in other countries, and is used by many formula one teams in their drivers and mechanics clothes. It is also used by Pringle in some of their top of the range golf clothing, and it is also used in some top of the range ski clothing.

If we listen to salespeople in shops, then make our own decisions whats the problem here? I would prefer to listen to 2 quality salespeople giving advice than the 3 i ran into in Dreams plc!!!

hi Tim, I had a look at quite a few mattresses now but with my budget being tight and my expectations high didnt find many to my liking.

The second link doesn't work, but that is beside the point, as I would never recommend a reflex foam encapsulated pocket sprung mattress. You would be better off buying a good quality open coil sprung/memory foam mattress.

You can see just from the shape of the mattress that they are reflex foam encapsulated pocket springs.
