Yes, I have, and I love it! (but not sure what you're looking for..) Check my other posts and search for them in this forum for more info. I haven't had a tempur mattress so can't comment on that, but the phone number is at the top of the ergoflex website if you need more info - I found them really helpful and efficient. x0

Has anyone actually bought a mattress from ergoflex (Newcastle)? I have been reading for what seems like days! Ergoflex if I have understood correctly is an alternative to Tempur. Are they both memory foam but just different tradenames? I am interested in knowing where they are made - anyone know?
Tempur are a large international company, and I'm not sure exactly where they are made. From what I understand Ergoflex have more or less copied the specifications for a Tempur mattress and use the fact that it is like Tempur as the main subject of their advertising. A few years ago I was actually talking to a director of a bed company who was planning on doing the same thing. I advised him not to bother as although Tempur were the first to manufacture memory foam mattresses, they definately aren't the best any more, and that this was reflected in the 2006 Which Magazine report where they came bottom. Their market share is also shrinking rapidly due to their products being over rated and over priced.
I won't go into details, but I feel it is a shame that a large company like Tempur use dirty tricks (as I was once a victim of) to try and win back their market share. I should think it will only be a matter of time before Ergoflex suffer at the hands of Tempur's wrath if they continue their current line of advertising. They attacked my company when I didn't even mention them at all.0 -

I'm puzzled as to why you were quoting my post when it didn't even mention Ergoflex or Tempur, it was in answer to a post about a Slumberland bed???0 -
I went to my local bed shop just for a quick browse, as I have no intention buying a bed of them as I find the internet prices are more competitive.
But Im such a sucker me and missus walked out £1000 less off. everyday since then I feel like I been ripped off, but then again the bed felt comfy.
Please someone tell me I had a good buy.
Here the spec from the site (elephant beds).
**Pocket collection with 70mm Memory Foam. This fantastic mattress now incorporates individual pocketed spring with a lavish layer of 70mm memory foam. Only with 70mm of memory foam can you experience the full benefits of this amazing mattress. The mattress is tufted by hand and upholstered in luxurious maxi cool fabric to allow movement without warming up. The base is fully upholstered in the same stylish fabric with twin piping. All bases have twin castors with linking bars. And this mattress is non turn.**
The one I seen in the shop was called President but can't find it on the website. But the saleman told me they keep the best in the store.
It was a king size with sprung base and 2 drawers, priced at £1600 on the bed then he slash it to £850, he said he want to make at least a sale. I thought its too good to be true but the missus was happy with it. The worst part is I think Airsprung makes there bed for them. As we about to pay, my missus saw this memory foam pillow. Which we ended up buying 2 for £90.
Classic Visco memory Foam Pillow
- Individually moulded with high density visco elastic form for maximum support
- Dry Cleanable, zip off cover
- Orthopedic
- Ecological
- Sanitised fabric
- Reacts to body heat
- Allergy free
- 5 year warranty to all customers
- Made to british standards/regulations

I've googles 'President mattress' and have found them made by Kozeesleep, Sleepeezee, and Relyon, but none made by Airsprung.
Where did you find the spec on the elephant beds web site?0 -

You shouldn't really be paying more than £850 for any Airsprung bed, as they are very middle of the range (which is why Argos sell them).
It doesn't even state the number of pocket springs, or the density of the memory foam (which is very important).
For the sales rep to half the price within 20 mins makes me think that he didn't drop the price at all, but just told you the price was higher to make you think you were getting a bargain.
You will get far better for less money on line.0
