It appears that the 6' evesham was probably a cancelled special order (probably for a hotel as they are contract mattresses) as It seems that mattressman are the only people who sell it in that size, and they only have two in stock. So it is probably a good price.
The second one is non turn, so I would stay well clear.
Thanks Tim for your advice. May i ask, does it matter if a mattress does not have 'side stiching'? i.e. what benefits does it bring?
As the evesham is not a retail mattress, i doubt i'll find one in the shops to try, so would you say it's a risky buy?

Has anyone tried one of these Comfortex memory foam mattresses from ebay:
The specification looks very good for the price (£105 delivered):
Comfortex mattress
50mm of decent density memory foam. Am I missing something?0 -

If it is anything to go by, T J Hughes were selling a Silentnight memory foam mattress that got very poor reviews on MSE, partly due to it's very low spec.
I'd say that the price is probably about right (not the RRP).
So def not the "Rolls Royce of memory mattresses" that i thought at RRP , but more rather in reality a "Vauxhall"
If it was that good do you feel they would have put specifications details?0 -

The side stitching is part of the structure of the mattress, but isn't actually visible on all mattresses that have it. It actually helps to keep the shape of the mattress.0 -

I'm afraid 50kg density memory foam isn't decent at all. The density needs to be between 60 and 70gk.
The lower the density the cheaper the memory foam.0 -
