You are still looking at large companies. Try looking on line.

You will get more for your money and better quality with smaller independent manufacturers. This is mainly because production is still by hand, and not by robots. When manufacturers are part of large multinational companies, the parent company will usually invest in large automated production lines. A prime example of this is the Si########t group who's quality has crashed over recent years.

You will also usually find that you get far better value for money on line.

Depending on exactly what type of mattress it is, and how well you look after it and turn it, it should last a minimum of 7 to 10 years. In many cases it should last far longer.
  • I'm not sure, mine has adifferent pattern on it but the description looks similar.
Don't think there would be much of a price difference to mine when delivery to NI is added so glad i'm not out of pocket too much!!
I think it is firm but thats the way i wanted it.
Haven't had any more bother with the heat than my previous mattress.
I would recommend it but would like an experts opinion (preferably Tim's!!) on what i have bought.

    To recap:
"I recently bought a "Dorlux Comfort Collection - Memory Foam" 4ft 6 mattress.
    Any opinions on it?
Was considering the Romantica from Tim but my wife preferred to see one before we bought it and as it cost £249 and was delivered next day from a local retailer we went with this one."

    Any opinions welcome.....
