I think the mattress is this one: 310097164658 as it looks the same but hard to tell as they don't give much details. It is open coil sprung, and it feels soft to me but them I'm no expert :undecided

Most of the bad/neutral feedback seems to be problems with delivery rather than quality. I think maybe I'm just being too fussy but then again our last mattress was even cheaper and lasted us fine for 7 years.

I will email the seller and see what they say, though I'm not very good at this sort of thing, lol.

That's the one I thought it might be. It does say 'firm spring system', so it sounds like it isn't as described.

Don't be afraid to contact them by phone. You need to get the ball rolling to be covered by distance selling regs. You shouldn't have to put up with a mattress that you can't sleep on.

Couriers can be a problem, but it is up to the seller as part of the customer service to make sure they use transport that is reliable, rather than just using the courier to blame.

Could somebody please give three or more independent mattress/bed makers to look for. After searching i can now give you or trade if you want furniture makers, pine furniture makers, fine furniture makers, (all independent) but not one f******g mattress or bed maker who is independent.
Please help by naming a few independents. I will absolutely not take them as a recommendation!! I promise.

Go to www.yell.com then do a search for 'mattress manufacturers', and put yorkshire as the location (as this is where most bed companies are). Then go to page 5 of the results to skip all the featured advertising results.

Then if you are unsure about any companies then just ask.
