I'm back on the MSE wagon, Finally!! :D

I scared myself by doing a snowballing thing-a-majig and I'm trying to go for a complete NS week until saturday. There are a couple things I want from paperchase, some candles and a new notebook, so I figure if I'm very well behaved this week I can treat myself on saturday.
I also need to start a spending journal thing, I spend so much in asda it's unreal. Spent £30 in there on friday then another £10 on saturday with nothing to show for it
I've got a book on the way, Dawn French's new book (impulse buy) so that's reading material covered, going to dig out some other books to re-read too. Going to try and save £200 before christmas so I can get lots of new clothes, bedding ect in the sales after christmas (going on boxing day, sister needs new dresses for going to London.) So if I focus on that hopefully it will get me through!
And after that I'm going to start saving for mine and franks summer holiday (in the UK, my passport expires soon)

Been reading alot of saving / dfw threads so I'm ready like a warrior! (okay, maybe not a warrior but something of the like)

Two NSDs in a row!! Keep on looking on asos or topshop and sighing, i feel like I have no clothes! but they're all either in the wash or ready to be ironed. So come friday I'll have lots of clothes on my bed and feel nice again! Just about to head to the sofa to read dawn french's book (which is really really good!) while my parents watch a movie.

Just checked up on all polls ect. I'm 100 piggy points off of a £10 topshop voucher!! hopefully I can make those up in a month so I can have the voucher for the january sales.

Off work today, work up this morning and felt really rough so rang up the office and snuggled back down into bed for a couple hours, just dragged myself away from the comfort of the study to get some dinner when I saw the computer was on so I thought I'd check up :)

Another NSD, but then I am poorly so I can't really pat myself on the back for this one. Still! 2 days away from shopping *claps* I've even managed to talk myself out of afew things I wanted so I guess that's a bonus. I've figured out if I'm very careful with my money, I might be able to have my £200 shopping money saved up before december, which would be lovely! I'm going to take it out the bank once it's saved and I can spare it and put it in my money box where I wont touch it. I'm more stern with myself about taking money out of there compaired to if it was in the bank.

Heading back to the sofa!Hope everyone's okay!

Hope you feel better soon :):)

I haven't really had a saving week. I bought a new mp3 player...though it wasn't too expensive, and I will use it a lot. Hopefully will be hearing about a music bursary soon...*fingers crossed*

I'm back at work this morning and feeling better :) thank you for your get wells! Although when I get home this afternoon I'm heading right back to the sofa with my dawn french book, I couldn't really afford two days off. Need to speak with someone about sick days. At some point. Looks like everyone shoved their unwanted work on my desk yesterday!

Being the queen on spending excuses, if you use it don't worry about it! It's when you start buying things that lay sadly in a corner gathering dust that you need to start worrying ;) like my whole spending spree that lasted a fortnight! :o

I think stp is ok, i used to use it quite a bit but then I got downgraded to 3 stars and the money got cut (15p per track to 7p...) which made it a bit rubbish. The music is also pretty aweful but there can be good bits.. I might get back into it soon with the looks to earning about £5 per week.. but that will still be about 72 songs which will take at least an hour and a half.. way less than minimum wage but hey! I'm not sure really. if it keeps breaking like you said cinny then that's so annoying and unfair :(

it's good when it likes you! Mine's alright now, but has it's moments of not sending reviews. It's easy and an alright way to pass time. It's quite hard writing reviews of music you just don't like though. I'm listening to something that reminds me of rocky horror opening song now! Oh dear.

    I'm at the dizzy heights £1.62 ;)
