Hi everyone, pretty quite on here!
Munching on carrot sticks, on my breakGot some bedding and my much needed new bag on friday, spent £40 in TKMaxx  Then went to lakeside, bought a new candle (£1.65) and £10 on cookbooks. then petrol, baking, cooking, take away (I know I shouldn't!) so another £15 there
this doesn't seem to be a saving thread anymore!

Hey. Hope you're feeling better now.
Well...everyone has bad times. I for instance am spending £130 on some Alexander Technique lessons...arghh! But you are aware of it, and no doubt will continue your good ways.
Am supposed to be doing some uni work, but getting distracted, and feeling a bit bleh...0 -
Hope you're feeling better soon! I'm on my dinner break at work, stuffed up with a cold and downing halls soothers
no appetite so I'm having a gander about online. Just bought a cath kidson book *smacks forehead* I'm starting my christmas list and putting everything I really want on it because then those things are no go items so there is no chance of me getting any of it myself. Frank is working this friday so no trip to meadowhall either. So no temptation there.
Alexander Technique, isn't that something to do with your posture? I think..0 -
Yes....it's relaxation/posture type stuff. I got recommended it to help with my flute playing.....it is a one off thing, but just a lot. But I applied for a music bursary so hopefully I'll get that.
AwColds are just infuriating. How is work going?

Work went alright yesterday, apart from the fact I couldn't breathe through my nose and had to keep on stopping and putting on chapstick because my lips are getting all chappy
If it's helping then it's worth the moneyhave you done it already or are you waiting?
Going into town today after work, need some body scrub. but I'm going to behave and get a £2 soap and glory pot. *nod* and nothing else, I will be strong!
Doubting any NSD's for this week. Going to see HSM3 with my sister tomorrow night, thursday I've got the day off of work for a photography course and friday me and mum are going out before she goes on holiday saturday0 -
Aw! Hope you're not so blocked up today.
I have had one lesson and it was really good. I tend to tense up anyway, so it'll be good on many levels.
Photography course sounds very exciting!
I won't have a NSD tomorrow, nor Thursday, possibly on Friday though...0 -
sorry I haven't been about! Been really busy at work and trying to set up shopping lists, meal plans for next week while my parents are away.
Glad the lesson went well! Will you be doing anymore?0 -
another week down!
quite surprised when I rang up the bank earlier and was told I have £240 in  totally wasn't expecting that. Just £20 board to go out and £15 already in my wallet, should last me all week. Got £60 for me, my brother and sisters shopping for the week. Trying to keep it low at a budget of £40 and I doubt milk and bread top ups will cost £20 so hopefully mum and dad will get some money back to treat themselves to a takeaway the night they come back.

sounds like you're doing well Cinny.
On hindsight, if you look in my signature, I don't think I did TOO badly last month considering I went away twice, had normal bills to pay out and had to renew my motorbike insurance for the year. I ended up I think around £100 down on what I started the month with. Saving should recommence this month!0 -
And that's only 0.1%
You've done really well! Good luck with next month!
