Hello! I had a realisation today that my loan isn't through for another week, so today's food shopping trip for the week could be interesting.0

Tinkerbel - I've offered to stock take in the yard if my workload runs out with the extra 4hours, it's a mess so i might get afew more hours in sorting it out. Hopefully people will stopped getting married ect in abit so you'll get some more hours too! Well done on your NSDs! I managed one today which is shocking for me on a sunday.
Nicki, if you can wait until tomorrow night couldn't you go to a local supermarket before closing when they mark all the bread, sandwiches ect down?
Me and Frank are cooking tea tomorrow  We cannot cook at all (unless from frozen), only bake so it should be fun erm.. different!
Just about to go and raid the cupboards for a makeshift tea0 -
You're doing really well, keep it up\\ Debt Free April 2008 //\\ Single Mummy to 1 boy - 4 years & 5 months old //\\ Last weeks spend: £139.39 - 2 NSDs //0

What are you cooking?
Cinny - thanks, the thing is that the only supermarket close by is a tiny Tesco Express which doesn't sell half the things I want. I managed to spend about £9 on mince, milk, butter (had to get really expensive stuff as wanted unsalted) and vegetables to last me for at least this week. I made some bolognaise sauce and have two portions in the freezer.0 -
Sounds like you did well then! We made guinness sausage casserole with mash and cabbage, with Frank's apple crumble and my icecream (joint effort) for desert. Went down quite alright I think!
Total Spend today: Roughly £18
£8 of that went on new gloves for my vespa (bright pink leather with fleece on the inside:o ) and the other £10 was spent at asda. Nearly bought afew dvds but I stayed strong.
Oops! Almost forgot. The change bucket has just passed £80! I've also got £80 coming into my bank account from paypal / amazon sales so we'll hopefully be at £160 before the end of the week!0 -
