I'm gonna have a stupidly expensive month. My bike insurance is up for renewal which is going to cost me £424 for the year. I'm going away to Poland for 4 days so I'm taking £350 in zloty's and doing a booze cruise to France which will likely be another £150-£200. Oh dear
Doin a bit of stoozing on the insurance though so that's all good. Isn't it weird you just try and try to save money but it never really works?0 -
Hope you have fun Villafan! You've been saving quite abit, and we all need holidays so don't feel guilty! And insurance is a must so once again, no guilt! As long as you don't get in debt, there's no problem
Did you have a nice meal Nicki?
Buying me and my sister tea tonight, but we're having piri-piri chicken with salad so it shouldn't cost much. Had so much fun last night! But now I'm toying with the idea of buying tickets to go see jason manford tomorrow night, £14 each *rubs chin*0 -
I did thanks.
Bit cross as we had a power cut again. It means that I will probably have to throw away all my frozen food.0 -
If there's meat couldn't you cook it in sauce then freeze it into meal size portionsthings?
Going to have my hair cut at 1, First time in monthsonly £8 though so not bad!

I'm having one of those 'just cut my hair' moments. I have it cut the same everytime (inverted bob) but my hairdresser curls it under my chin, and it makes me look like a mum! Will fix it with my straighteners when I get home.
Still at work, been given a break until half past for my trouble! The other person who works here has had to take her son to the hospital so I'm doing a full day today. Classed my haircut as dinner break. Still got to go shopping tonight and shopping when you're hungry - bad idea! Everything I see I think 'ooo tasty!!' so I'm having to make a list and stick to it too the letter! must remember tooth paste.

I wish I had had my hair cut shorter last week.
How is your 100 day challenge going?0 -
Surprisingly well! People are passing their used magazines onto me, and buying me chocolate for my loss, it's lovely! Makeup wise I really want some new foundation but I'm staying strong!0

Hoorah! Another payday.
Wanting to treat Frank this weekend because of his new job, trying to keep it as MS as possible! We're going out for a meal today after work, paid for with money in my paypal account, then to the cinema, and we'll be too full from dinner to want any sweets. So saving there I guess!
Tomorrow we're going to the seaside, for chips on the sea front and 'waste' abit of money on the machines. Limiting ourselves to a £10 bag of change! :rotfl: taking a flask of tea and some sandwiches for the journey
Sunday we're taking our jack russell to clumber park with HM scones and yet more tea! then watching a sunday movie before facing my sister and her boyfriends cooking attempts, saying that, I have high hopes because her boyfriend is quite good at cooking!0 -
