It is abit difficult when you first start finding the tips. I was trying to use them all at once and my brain felt like it would pop.

At work for the afternoon, just had a massive hoo-har with Sage Accounts, I got here about half an hour too early so I've just been sat confused having to compress and rebait files. Felt like curling up into the fetal position and rocking away until home time. Just backed up all the work for today so I'm taking a break.

How did your budget go Nicki?

Accounts sounds scary :S Hope you're feeling better.

Well, in the end we didn't do them yesterday, doing them tonight though. Yesterday we made origami goldfish instead haha.

Just about to go to the dentist :(

I got my laptop case today but had a bit of an argument with the shop assistant. I said I wouldn't pay full price for it as it was all muddy on the inside. Then it came up at more than the ticket said, and I think she was glad to get rid of me. So that's c.£25 today and at least £16 at the dentist :(

Thankfully the closest I get to accounts is writing monies down :)

I hate the dentist with a passion! I think I'm emotionally scarred since I had my fillings done. Hope it's okay for you!

Did you get it discounted in the end? I never have the guts to stand up to SA's or point out prices going wrong.

Was going for a NSD today, but mysteriously turned up at wilkos this morning buying chocolates (not for me, for the office! so I'm still going on the 100 days) some pringles (for me) and sweets for Frank so that's gone down the drain. Plus I just bought my own terramundi from amazon, fueled by you mentioning yours yesterday, other posters and people on flickr. I'm easily lead!!

Going for a NSD today :)

Think I might go to the library after work to renew my card so I can start getting books from there, saving me a small fortune each year.

    List for today! (after work)

Have a quick lunch once I get home.
Walk into town to renew library card and pick up afew books.
Check library notice board for french lessons. (just you know, incase I ever move to france)
Blitz my room, move out bed, give shelves a good scrub and de-clutter.
    Clean bathroom for parents.
Sit down with a glass of water and read my borrowed books until tea!

Yes, I did. I thought it was supposed to be £29.99, but it rang up as £34.99 and when I questioned it she did something else so got it for £25.19. Dad has now cleaned it up - he mentioned it could have been mould (!?!?) but it has washed off so hopefully it was just mud.

    Do go to the library!

I only have a short to-do list today:

    Pack for uni
Get money out for flute lesson
    Drive to flute lesson

How long have you been playing the flute for? I could never stick at things like that when I was younger, I think I had 3 violin lessons when I was 14 then gave up. I kicked !!!! on recorder though.

Hopefully the weather will keep up for me going to the library, it's about a 30minute walk there. I might go into the museum on the way back. It's just been re-done and has a wartime kitchen with all the bits and pieces, so I can just stand there and sigh till my hearts content.

    Had a NSD today! :j

right, my list went in the bin this afternoon. I got home and made dinner then curled up on the couch watching sense and sensibility (the one with hugh grant) got about half way in when I stopped it and decided i'd watch the end tomorrow afternoon when everyone is at work.

On the bright side I've cleaned my bedroom, I stipped my bed and hung the duvet and pillows about to 'air' while I scrubbed, dusted, swept and washed all the sides windows ect. Feel quite accomplished.

Just been reading about banks pulling ODs which is making me kinda worried for Frank! he ran up a bigish overdraft on car repairs and is so focused on paying off his CC he hasn't even thought about it. Trying to figure out what I can do to help alittle!
