I used to beat myself up over nothing until I noticed I only did it on the days I was stressing over money! Still happens, quite abit! What's up?

My sister wanted to go to uni and do history, but she decided she'd rather work in topshop in the end. Not that she's working there yet, bless her!

Blimey, £400! Be the best day ever when you crack it open.

Aw, cool. I do love it :) Though I am trying to work out a budget for uni at the moment and am all confused as I have no idea about gas/water bills etc. AHHHHHH. :(

Yes, I know, and it doesn't feel like I am saving either!

it really gets me when i've managed to save quite abit and then suddenly it's all gone god knows where.

Couldn't you use last years bills and add £10 just to be on the safe side? Be better to put too much to one side then too little.

Not really a budget, but to save on dvds you could use the free trials for dvd rentals. I think if you sign up for a lovefilm free trial you get a free dvd for keepsies.

I've just got to make a cuppa for the man outside doing the fasica then I'm going to completely blitz my room keeping me away from online shopping!

    Then i'm going to;
    [STRIKE]
rethink my monthly to weekly budget.
write the shopping list for friday.
go on the treadmill for 30mins
    [/STRIKE]

So I best get moving, good luck with sorting out your budget Nicki!

*edit*they're replacing the guttering outside my bedroom so i'm going to attack my bedroom thursday. Just re-thought my budget! and sorted out my shopping list so i can cross them off! plus I have my laptop balanced on the treadmill. Walking at 2 mph. been walking for 35 mins now!

I'd probably drop my laptop if I was using it on a treadmill hehe.

How do you do your budget? My dad is helping me with mine tonight, but I am so sleepy and not in the mood!

Hey, post your questions and we're more than happy to help! The only problem with this part of the forum is that it's pretty low on the list so there aren't too many hits.

Check out the DFW board for saving ideas. I go on there alot and i'm not a penny in debt, and there's the money saving old style for household tips ect :)

I spend a lot of my time on the OS board and a bit of the DFW. I have downloaded the budget planner and actually have loads of tips but it is sort of an overload of information!!
