I went into the big asda in doncaster, and they had alot of nice coats, mainly short ones from £18-£25 but none that really took my fancy!!

Down to £80-something in my bank :o paid my mum board (now gone up to £20) and phone bill. Bought things for a surprise picnic for me and frank tomorrow and the rest of my parents christmas presents. So I've got £40 in my purse to last me the week, and my wages going into the bank tomorrow which should be untouched for most of the week at least. Put my brothers christmas present off for another week :o currently got £30 saved up for it, just need £15 from next weeks wages. Phew! Then I start on Franks familys presents. :wall: it seems neverending.

Changed my mind, just ordered my brothers christmas present :D bought it on harrods online so I've saved £5 on it. I thought while I have the money free I mareswell get it. Wondering if I should order franks family's christmas presents too. But I don't think I have much space left to put them, especially now Frank is talking about bringing afew of his over already. *sighs* I think I'll wait until my parents birthdays are out of the way because that will free up alot of space.

That's a shame about your car. Hopefully it wont cost to much to be fixed? (I know nothing about cars)

Feeling pretty low on cash too. I completely forgot it was my grandads birthday on thursday. So I had a mad dash to get him some kind of hamper sorted yesterday afternoon! Had my trip to hobbycraft and managed to only spend £7. Which is very good for me! Frank loved the surprise picnic and it actually managed to fill him up (makes a change :D ) We went to town this morning and I got chocolate (not for me! for my grandparents christmas present) and Frank bought food to make at home. I've got £9 to last me until Friday and I think I need to fill up my vespa.

Hope you're having a good weekend! (excluding the car mirror)

It is fixed now, thankfully Dad paid.

Aw, I am glad that Frank loved the surprise picnic. It sounds like a lovely idea.

I could easily spend a lot in any craft shop haha.

Should have a nice weekend, got some good things planned. Got to start sorting things out for uni though :)

    Yay for Dads!!

I was quite relieved he liked it! I'm rubbish with sandwiches, I just slap some quorn slices between bread and be done with it, I've hated butter since I was tiny and I can't even butter bread :rotfl: I think I passed though.

I'm terrible in all craft shops, I end up buying so much stuff I don't even know how to use and they all either get thrown out or left to gather dust, so this has been my first trip to hobbycraft for awhile!!

Good luck with getting all your bits and bobs :)

I know! Well, stuff in craft shops is so pretty. Although I do the same and buy stuff and then never use them.

It's not so much buying stuff but organising things and other admin. Hmm.
  • Organising your stash once you have one (most craft types have HUGE ones lol) is part of the fun though huh??

You can think I am going to do this, that and the other thing, and stow it all away again for a rainy day :rotfl:

My rainy day is in a little over a week hopefully lol

Yes! I've used a lot of craft stuff for cards and random projects.

What will you make on your rainy day?

Here's to a start of another week! Going for a NSD today. I reckon I can go without spending a penny until thursday. And then Monday on the 30th so I reach my 15 day goal *fingers crossed*

I counted out mine and Franks money tub yesterday (he was lying on the bed complaining from working all day) and we've got just over £70! We're close to being able to go away at christmas. Using the £20 we earnt on amazon to pay for one of the £19 travelodges. Hoping it all goes to plan.
