[JoannasMum - Don't think so, this cabinet is in Carnforth. Which cabinet are you referring to?

    [/quote]

Found it now, go for it; it will clean up lovely. Never seen one like that. The one I was looking at was this, which is obviously in a different price range. Just wondering if I could convince dh that we need a large cupboard in our dining room. Just fyi Carnforth is in Cumbria not Lancs which is what threw me :D .

    PS Congrats to Olliesmummy06

    Congratulations Olliesmummy!!
Belated congratulations grandma Chrisca on the new arrival!
    Happy Birthday Miss Essex Girl!
Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Meanmarie!!
Belated anniversary wishes Mr & Mrs Anniestar! Any luck with getting Phoebe's sample? I'm intrigued....can't imagine how hard that would be!

Had chicken thighs & drumsticks done in Remoska, with savoury rice. Also did garlic mushrooms - I got a bag of open-capped mushrooms for 10p yesterday!!!

I've got the rack and the pan separator for my Remoska. The pan separator is good for doing something in sauce ( i did left-over lamb with beans and veg in a spicy tomato sauce) with potatoes in the main bit. The rack is supposed to be good for doing things like pizza, toasties etc as it brings them closer to the element so cook quicker. I might try cheese on toast! I've used it to cook potatoes/chips on the bottom and something on the rack above - first i tried fish fingers & fishcakes but they collapse as they cook, quiche was better as it was in its foil tray. My plan is for it to give me a bit more room for cooking.

Squiddly So happy that the romance is working out. :lovethougYou might have struck gold. :D

Aussie, I try not to hope so. If that makes sense!! The big move is happening over the next 3 days apparently & he (obviously) has very mixed feelings as it means his boys will also be moving away. However one goes to a (special needs) boarding school down that way, and the younger DS would have been going in Sept too - but still, reality can hit hard.... He is a lovely guy, and I think IF things develop the way it looks as though they could, then yes, I may have finally (after 7 years) struck gold. I really do hope so, but I try not to build my expectations up too much either. It's been frustrating the past 4 weeks or so as it has just had to go "on hold" to a certain extent, but I'd much rather he got things sorted first. Hopefully next week we'll meet up again & see how it goes from there. It will just be lovely to have a bit of excitement in my life & some (male) adult company, enjoy going out for a drink/supper, and getting to know him ;)

Tiredmum, sorry to hear about the job, but I’m sure there’s another just waiting for you somewhere… Snowy, its still good news – it’s worth keeping all your options open, and even if it does you in the short-term while you look for something that’s closer.
Happy Anniversary to Mr & Mrs MeanMarie.
Welcome Katiesmummy, Tramps and olliesmummy (plus congrats too J)
Pooky, OMG!!!! That’s a huge amount of money to be down each month (obviously you know that…!). Candygirl, I agree – something often pops up when you least expect it.
VickyA, that’s great news re the school – should take some pressure off now?
Kaatlady, glad you got the cards sorted (so it should be 24 hours!) and clever you on the veg too J
Jannyannie, are you hobbling now then L Hope the toe isn’t too painful.
    Grannybroon, hope you're doing ok.

EDIT: no idea what's going on with my fonts... lol

    Evening peeps,

    Congratulations to Olliesmummy06 :j

Cranky40 - Your lab made me laugh, we used to have a beautiful black long haired german shepherd that used to be like a wheelie bin, there was never anything wasted when we had her.

Candygirl - good job yours don`t like onions cos they`re poisonous for houndies, we only ever had one dog that was bad on bonfire night and sedation just didn`t work, it made him worse as he used to fight it and panic more as he didn`t understand why he felt like he did after the tablets. Guess who saw the millenium in underneath a worktop in a utility room in the dark with a glass of bubbly:rolleyes:

Pippad - the hobnobs are lovely eaten frozen too :D

Kaat-lady - i try to stay away from Meadowhall, i get lost in there and spend too many pennies, glad that you got the card sorted out though.

Pooky - hope that everything is better for you soon ((((HUGS))))

Must go and tidy the kitchen now as if not i`ll end up leaving it until morning as i`m off w*rk tomorrow YAY!!!:j :j
    Night peeps

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p
