Hi all, run off my feet busy but thought I'd pop in and wave  Happy anniversay meanmarie and OH :)

Really cool pictures :) I tried to grow some lettuces indoors and only one came up, so I put it into a pot on it's own. He's called Norman and is three inches tall. I hoping I won't become to attached to him as a house plant :rotfl:I'm growing radishes and herbs in the windoboxes - anything taller gets wind swept.

My thesis is slowly turning me crazy, my boss is demanding the moon-on-a-stick and I'm really tired. Oh, and I have to find a job *sigh* and nothing jumps out at all. I've been training in this field for ten years and I just don't want to do it any more. I just want to curl up and sleep :) More marking arrived today - only a few and I've done them now, but it feels like the the work never ends. My boss has conviently not replied to my holiday request yet - OH booked the flights so I'm really nervous. I have had two and a half weeks off in three years but he's still likely to go mental - I only want two days off. :( Arrghhh :) Still, eleven weeks left now - not that I'm counting (we have chalk marks on the walls!) :) More carp from OH's ex's solicitor too, just to add to the fun.

OH is away overnight on some [STRIKE]highly boring[/STRIKE] work thing up in Cambridge. So I am going to get takeaway to satify my odd craving for prawn crackers. :D Then I am going to go home, play computer games and drink red wine. Sounds like a plan :D

Hugs to those that need them, cel x

    Evening

Kaat Lady - what company do you have your credit card with? That is disgraceful, all credit cards should have a 24 hour lost-and-stolen line.

JoannasMum - Don't think so, this cabinet is in Carnforth. Which cabinet are you referring to?

Aussie - I like the way you waited until *after* Pink had gone to broadcast about THE party (which, incidentally got mentioned on Radio 1 this morning :) ).

Tired Mum - Sorry about the job, it must not have been the job meant for you. Something better will be just around the corner, I'm sure

You are all very naughty convincing me to buy this cabinet :naughty: But convincing none the least :T . I will see what it goes for

Well, done my stint in prison for today, came home to spag bol made in the slowcooker OH WOW - I think it might just be the best meal I have ever 'made'.

Made more progress at work today - got shown how to drive the power pallet trucks. How much fun???? :D

Anyway, hope you all have a good evening

    :bdaycake: to Miss Essex Girl

    (((hugs))) to Tired mum

Ofsted left yesterday and they're recommending that the school is taken out of Special Measures!!! :j :j I'm hoping that my experience will do me well for finding another job............. where ever that might be.

The town's "International Festival" starts tomorrow night and I'm stewarding at the first event (trying to meet new people AND getting free tickets! :D) which will be two choirs singing by candlelight. I'm really looking forward to it.

I went shopping after w*** tonight. I've got a friend's wedding in a week's time and "nothing" to wear. I took my clutch of John Lewis vouchers with me (all saved up from Pigsback ;)), with the intention of buying an outfit in the sale. Naturally, the thing that I liked (and it fitted) was at full price  However, I've still got a few vouchers left so they haven't ALL disappeared in one go. :)

Anyway, I need to start to make supper. DH has just text me to say that he's on his way along with my book that I'd left at his parents' house at the weekend. :wall:

    Take care all

    Evening all

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MR AND MRS MEANMARIE.

HUGS CELYN90 KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT THE WRITING.

    KATTLADY GREAT VEG

    WELCOME TRAMPS AND KATIESMUMMY

HUGS TO ALL JOB HUNTERS AND THOSE WORRIED ABOUT MONEY.

Managed to appraise some more papers. DS had a good day in his new school. Went to the allotment and dug some more this evening. Think i should be able to eat my spinach beet soon. Another allotment holder told me it was the pigeons eating my cabbages. Will put some fleece over them tomorrow to keep the little b*****s off.

Managed to fall off my bike today when I was stationary and think I might have broken my little toe! Felt like a right pratt.

Off to make some decaff tea.

    Have a good night all.
