Thought I had posted this already, but it wasn't here... never mind!
Hello All!
Chrisca, congratulations and please do provide pictures. I am already feeling broody and they might stop me from doing something silly! :rotfl:
Happy Birthday to Essex-girl's girl, so you are saying don't get the HM wii game right? Phew, you are now my source on this and everytime DD asks in the future I will tell her you said it is terrible (ok so not what you said exactly lol, but it will save me a small fortune!)
Happy Birthday to RZL, have a lovely time in Paris and don't drool too much on the stage, it makes it very slippery!
I get my new car today so I am very excited, it is the new style number plates so that is making DH excited! Not saying a word, but little things please little minds right?
Thanks for the well wishes for my Mum. I think she is feeling better as she babysat my niece last night! She has CIPND (chronic inflammation of the peripheral nerves disorder) and a whole host of other things (including diabetes) so as soon as she gets a cold we are all on tenderhooks as she normally ends up in hospital.
DD tried on the flowergirl outfit yesterday and looked adorable! I will have to get her to put it on again and take a photo for her as she wants to keep looking at herself in the mirror!
Hugs to everyone who would like one, please look after yourselves! Off to hug the small one and change his nappy now as he sounds a bit unhappy!

If not, well, plenty of other stuff to get on with that doesn't involve the dreaded housework............lol

Good morning!
Well the sun is shining - a bit! The sky has lots of blue peeking through, but wow is it windy out!
Not done anything much yet, except pick up a friend from the airport and have a full cooked brekkie. Feeling slightly tired as I haven't been to bed yet, will remedy that shortly I think.
Want to pop on the bm to make some more bread rolls, they were fantastic yesterday, covered them with a tea towel when they came out of the oven and it kept them lovely and soft.
Really need to make chicken pies, as have promised the children them this week and still not done much about them! Will sort them out when I wake up and bung some sort of cakey thing in for pud. Made almond and mandarin fairy cakes yesterday, how yummy are they :-)
dd2 hoovered all round last night for me, apparently she needs extra pocket money for something so oh tells me, we shall see whether she manages to keep up the good work, hmmm! Anyway no hoovering to do, WM is on and will hopefully be finished in a bit so can get it out whilst it's dry.
dd3 is playing in a t ball tournament tonight, so I need to take her and cheer her on after school, apparently t ball is like rounders, not sure of the diff but guess I shall find out later.
No w**k now till Monday, yippee, hoping to persaude someone, anyone, to come and watch Mumma Mia with me tonight, will have to see who I can drag out to play, prob dd1!
Hope everyone has a lovely day xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Pink, just to reiterate, DD has NOT mentioned THE big party on Saturday night to any of her friends, NOR has she put a notice on Facebook giving full directions to your house. Hope you have a relaxing time in France, and I'm sure your bins will be fine!!
Just had a voice message from yesterday's company - I passed the assessment and they want to interview me.:o I don't really want this job because the office is so far away. I'm going to plough on with it though, as you never know what might come of it.
Blairweech - I think you should just go for that cabinet, and just accept the delivery cost. As you've mentioned it's the exact one you've been waiting for - I think you'd be really really sorry if you didn't grab it while it's available. There is no way of knowing if one similar will become available in the future - so go on, get it now while it's there!!!!!
Catznine - I hope your daughter starts feeling better soon. She'll be so glad to see her mummy.
joannasmum - your poor dad! Likewise there is no way of knowing what the future may hold, and worrying doesn't help in any way but it's so hard not to. Hopefully he'll get a good redundancy package which will ease some of the strain especially when he's convalescing from his knee ops.
My day - it's jobs day in the papers so am going out now to buy those. Then I'll spend the afternoon going through them and send off for forms etc. Over here job applications are mostly done by application form rather than sending a letter and cv. It is fairer (things weren't very fair at all for a long time here in N.Ireland) but it's sooooo time-consuming writing them out.
Mioliere, hope you're feeling better now.
Bye

Good morning all
Sincere wishes for better times to all those who are hurting/ill/worried/otherwise stressed right now.
It's been sunny here up to now, but I don't like the look of the black clouds that are starting to gather. I think we might get a downpour before long.
Nothing very exciting happening here - didn't get much sleep last night, but that's par for the course; I seem to be turning nocturnal!
Mr LameWolf was originally supposed to log on to work from home at 21:00 last night, but it then transpired that he didn't have to, so my evening was not disrupted after all.:T
Not sure what to do for tea tonight - I have to make some bread rolls later, so I might do a quiche, to make good use of the oven while it's on.
Catch you later, hopefully. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Morning all, not read posts yet(will do so in a bit) but just wanted to pop in to say happy anniversary to MeanMarie & Mr MeanMarie have a lovely day. Will be back later. Have a good day. Ann xxxxBlind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.
