    Nuthall????

Nuthall is a nice place. Close to ikea and sainsburys in kimberley. Also close to the M1 and fairly easy to get into Nottingham City. It is also close to the countryside.

I'm from Notts and if you have money then nowhere beats The Park...it's lush.

    West Bridgford is nice also.

The Park!! Isn't that the most expensive area in the whole of Nottingham? It's like London prices in the East Midlands!

I've had a look on Rightmove at The Park and would barely be able to afford a flat. Why is it so expensive there?

tonydee, we`ll all have our own ideas of where we would or not live in nottingham, if I said where I lived there would be huge response lol. It`s not st anns though. Where I live isnt location location, but so far it is very peaceful, close to motorway, and excellent bus route and easy to get in to town. I got a real good deal on the house and it`s very spacious and I wouldn`t be able to afford a house like this in say Mapperley, Gedling or the nice parts of Arnold. What is very bad about it is the local schools, but saying that it is inner city and the council tend to throw money at them to get them to perform better. My daughters don`t go to the local schools as I don`t want them to pick up bad habits! While I can get out of catchment place this will do for now.

I grew up very near the park in Lenton Sands one road away from the park estate. It used to be really lush with lots of big houses and I used to love walking through it on my way from work, when I worked at the General Hospital. Now that area and also the park seems to be full of students.
  • The Park is very lush indeed - I used to live in a shared house and loved it.

Currently living on Mansfield Road (city centre end) and am thinking about moving (buying). Beeston would be a good choice, when it comes to selling anyway as they've just approved the new tram route to go that way (though it currently student-ville, not that there's anything wrong with students!)

I'd love to live in Mapperley though, gorgeous houses.

Wow can't beleive there are so many MSEs in West Bridgford my parents still live there.

I now live in Rutland but would still recommend West Bridgford.

I think Rushcliffe comp has improved since I left (1988).

Primary schools are very good St Edmund campion still tops the tables but very hard to enter as it is a Catholic school.

All the best in your search.

It is kind of nice this - we can establish a Nottingham Posse and split off from the rest of MSE... perhaps plan a military coo and take over the entire website one day?

First campaign group meeting next week....
