I've been a customer for, I dunno, 5 years or so. But ok, if the only way to get the best deal is not to talk to retentions but to cancel and wait, then - I'll go ahead and do that.

    Thanks for the input.

And - I rang the generic number then selected through to "thinking of leaving us" - is there a direct and different number? I'll go search, thanks for the headsup.

Yes - you HAVE to cancel and make a calculated risk. Risk being that you may not be in when they call. Good luck.

What deal did you ultimately end up with, SW? And what process did you go through? :)
  • What TV box and Internet modem do you have with them - make, model no etc? If you let me know on here or via PM - will let you know.

Kind of don't want to bite the hand that feeds me if you know what I mean.

    Cheers

Do Sky or any other utility companies operate in a similar way to Virgin where you have to haggle and negotiate to get a reduction ??
