I'd like to get movies added to my discounted package.
Can anyone confirm they have been successful with this, even though they already have a discount?"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
Hi all. I rang using 150 then option 4. I was very nice to the girl who was really helpful. I have half price XL broadband and half price L TV. Well worth the wait. I still like ntl/Virgin and hope they will sort out the sky problem. I agrre with previous post - be really nice and get them on your side. Good luck!0

Yup - you get them to discount what you have first then add movies afterwards with the same call!

i just got off the phone with Cust Relations and this is what I have been offered:
Family Pack TV- normally £19.50
Telephone Line Rental - normaly £11.00
Talk Unlimited 24 - normally £25.00
Zee TV - normally £8.00
for a grand total of £30 per month for the next 6 months, ring back after this to get something more long term. I was paying £38.50 per month without the Talk Unlimited 24. Saving £33.50 per month on the normal price for all of the above. :rotfl: :T  :j
Also I was informed that with the merger of NTL/Telewest and Virgin, there should be a lot more offers for Broadband with regards to free modems/routers etc.. I was told to wait a few weeks to see what the actual offers are and then ring back.
Does anyone think I can do any better?
I rang them up at the weekend to see what they can offer me in terms of BB.
I was asked to speak to the sales guys as this would be a new service for me. The sales guys said they could offer me 2MB for £8, 4MB for £16. I asked about the wireless router and was told that they do not sell the wireless routers anymore, they would only provide me with a modem and if I needed a wirelss router, i'd have to go and buy my own.
I went for the 2MB deal for now and maybe I will call them again once installed to see if I can get a better deal. Does anyone know if they definately do not provide wireless routers anymore?0 -

I was on 10Mb BB since last April, just off the phone to thier CS and they refuse to apply the half price rental any more saying that I already have that in the last 12 month.
