Afternoon all
Just got wet bringing the washing in as its just started to rain, doesn't that make a change  Glad I brought some in already that had dried, so that has already been ironed.
Hoovered through, dusted and cleaned the bathroom so that will stay clean for oooooh a couple of hours or so. My son decorates the basin with all the bristles from his electric shaver, bless him. I'll decorate him with the back of my hand if he keeps on doing it
Made some hob nobs earlier, hid some in the freezer hoping that the ones in the tin wont get eaten so quick if they think there aren't many left!!! Well I think its logical anyway
I will have half an hour on here and then put my ironing away (one of the jobs I hate).
Chicken stirfry and noodles tonight mmmmmmmm
((Hugs)) to all in need, I know there are quite a few of you out there at the mo0 -
Just been to library and saw they wanted a library assistant. Came home and looked on the county council website and there are a number of library assistant posts. Granted they might not want me just until the end of September, but I am going to give it a shot and apply for the posts.0

good luck NickiM. With the credit crunch and all, I am looking to increase our cash flow in so that we can pay down mortgage just in case everything goes Pete Tong with the interest rates. Been looking around and seeing what's about, don't want a full time job - don't have time with the other things I do from home, and it's very limited what you can get part time, but DD2 suggested night auxiliary, so may well do that.0 -
Anniestar - best of luck at the vets.
Pollyanna - how exciting about the baby kicking and your bf feeling!
Hi to the new peeps, and good luck to all the job hunters.
Well didn't manage much sleep, lad next door woke me up a few times cos he was messing around with his car - prob revenge for all the grief my kids used to give him when he used to babysit for me!
Made some HM soup for lunch, really filling for some reason, can only find room to squeeze in a toffee crisp now! Means I'll be starving at work tonight, best make a sarnie to take with me. Chicken pies went out the window, well not literally, just ran out of steam, found some mini cottage pies lurking in the freezer, so the kids have got individual ones and will do some veg in a mo.
dd3 enjoyed her farm visit, it seems a funny thing for them to do at their school really, as most of the children live on farms or next to them, still I'm sure she had more fun than she would have had at school!
Will throw veg in a pan in a bit and leave oh with instructions about turning it on at the correct time, and try for another hours nap before I leave for w**k tonight. It's always hard to get back into the swing of doing nights after a weeks hol! Hope everyone has a good evening.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Afternoon.
I have read through the thread in bits and bobs and all the relevant info is now jumbled up in my tiny mind.
I wandered off to work this morning and popped home about 10.30, I managed to clean the kitchen worktops, (stardrops)loaded DW, washed the rest of the pots and disposed of the pigeon carcass that the cat had half plucked and then lost interest in
When I returned to work, one of my colleages wasn't feeling too good, so it was back into full work mode.
Shooting off now, I need to visit the printers and drop Miss Twit off at wotk...back later to catch up.
Anniestar, sending big hugs to Phoebe, Aston has offered to share his pigeon with her if she wants it.
Hugs to all in need.
