Hope you get a good night's sleep tonight.
Have spent today doing a bit of shopping for most of the family.
Made pea and ham soup in slow cooker and have nade a lentil pate which is cooling in the fridge - first time I have made it so hope it turns out all right.
A couple of hours ago I put the ingredients for milk loaf in the panny so am waiting to see how that turns out.
Hugs to all who could do with one and hello to all newbies:hello:"This site is addictive!"

Just want to say Josh and his sister are beautiful.
I am sweating buckets tonight as HRT has been stopped. Decided not to take things like Prozac etc - not the answer. Maybe St John's Wart?
HH - oh my goodness. Hope all OK with BIL. Love and hugs to everyone!

Evening everyone :hello:
Got back yesterday from the holiday and haven't yet had time to catch up so I hope everyone is well.
We had a lovely relaxing time and the weather was great so lots of time spent by the campsite pool and wandering round markets. We bbqed every night and the girls had the time of their lives.
After a rotten journey home (we missed the boat) today has been spent unpacking. Managed to get 6 loads dried in the sun so will attack the ironing tommorrow. House is reasonably clean and if the rain holds off tommorrow I'll do a bit of work in the garden. The veg is all coming along nicely and a few things are ready to harvest.
Bye for now.

I took HRT after going through early menopause (38); after my mum had breast cancer I got worried as medics could not advise me if it was ok or not. Was on prozac for a while but that was due to marriage breakdown, not the menopause. After that I took St John's Wart am not sure if it helped or if I thought it did, anyway Dr advised it didn't go with the blood pressure tabs I was prescribed so I stopped it about 3 yrs ago. Am 52 now and think that most menopause stuff has finished, but saying that, I do still wake up in the night dripping!
Have had replies re my question on the techie board about my laptop......think it may be !!!!ed!whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

It's freezing here this morning & DGS has kindly given me his cold so my throat feels like sandpaper. I'm going to have a go at making some microwave marmalade today. I hope it doesn't make an awful mess.

Good evening everyone!
Just got back from work about an hour ago (oh, how bizarre this new shift feels!) and quite glad to be at home, relaxing!
Mind you, my mind is going at about 48934930 miles per hour right now because of all the things I need to do tomorrow morning before work - I dont know about anyone else but i find if i know there is a lot to be done i cant settle till it's all sorted.Think i'll feel much better by tomorow afternoon once everything is done and dusted (inc a big row with a bank... they are evil, evil i tell you!)
Right, better stop whinging! On the up
