    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Morning!

(((hugs))) to all who could use one

School has finished for the hols thank goodness! I thought that would be that but they are not letting go that easily, a crisis meeting has been called at the end of the week, I really don't want this and just want to leave quietly and get back into my old style ways etc., but not attending wouldn't be fair on those that will be staying I guess, the air must be cleared so to speak. Needless to say my stress levels have gone shooting up again, I am too old for all this nonsense:rolleyes: why is it that, as Hester has found, some staff at schools can behave worse than the children?

Sorry for the rant!:o there are so many folk worse off, in fact i have been neglecting my friends - 2 are chronically ill and need my attention far more than that immature lot!

Anyway this week I have to start making a big dent in sorting out the craft room as it is also our spare room and you cannot get to the bed for all the clutter! I have joined free cycle and have managed to get rid of a single bed and some clutter. Opened the wardrobes and a heap of fabric pieces and balls of wool fell on my head  :rotfl: so that is next on the list!

Today I must tax the car, take pooch for a longish walk, rest and then visit friends. Dinner will be soya bolognaise if I manage to get it into the slow cooker that is!

I made the "cranks" carrot cake at the weekend and it is lovely!

Hope you all have a good day

    Catz x

    Morning everyone

((Hugs)) to everyone who needs one. Hester take care of yourself or your no use to anyone.

1.5 days left in work and then 2.5 weeks off. Unfortuately my to-do list is bigger than the time frame. DD had a very disturbed night so I'm pretty tired before I even start.

Not sure what tea will be but I'll go and have a rummage in before I leave for work. Have a load of washing to put on the maiden hopefully it will be dry by the time I get in so I can iron it

    Morning all

The suns shining here - although heavy showers forecast for later. Shall get some washing out pronto to give it a chance.

Got both DD's off school poorly today - DD1 looked like death warmed up last night and was all puffy around her neck and cheeks with swollen glands - she sniffed and sneezed all evening and coughed half the night away - I've not bothered to wake her this morning as I know she'll be better off in bed. DD2 has been up, had her antibiotics and gone back to bed.....I'm in for a fun day

I did list my ebay stuff yesterday and already have 29 watchers on 26 items, just hope it all sells.

DH didn't get the job he was interviewed for last week, they said he was over qualified but the job spec didn't give any indication that they were looking for a more junior person.....ah well, he's got another interview next week, so fingers crossed again.

Turkey burgers for tea tonight - I use turkey mince, a grated onion, a handfull of grated cheese, 1 egg and some soda bread made into breadcrumbs to help bind.....they turn out really moist and delicious.....will serve with the last of the salad bits in the fridge and some new pots.

Hope you all have a great day.

Well after yesterdays early start I am now back to normal.;)

Got a huge load of washing to do and redo a load of clothes washing as I haven't dried it due to the bad weather.

As I slowcooked 2 whole chickens together on sunday I have to think of yet anaother chickeny tea with them tonight.

We had thai green curry last night and chicken chasseur (from packet mix :o).

Feel like going on a baking spree today so will report back later with my baking [STRIKE]disasters[/STRIKE] experiments.:D xx

Morning everyone! Gloomy and damp here! Never mind cos I'm going back to bed in a bit, got into w**k last night to find that I had four days backlog to catch up on, fab!

Will defrost some of the chicken that's in the freezer and make chicken pies with one of the packs of puff pastry I got for 11p! That'll be dinner then, with frozen veg I think or salad if the weather picks up.

Not a lot else planned except sleep! dd3 is off on a visit to a farm today, complete with nice new wellies - strange how she's happy to plod around in non matching pairs at home but they don't cut the mustard for school! Hopefully the sun will shine for her, at least for a bit.

    Enjoy your day everyone xx

Beth - have a fantastic holiday and a good rest; you deserve it! Say hello to the sun for me!

Hester - you are in a horrid situation, aren't you? All those hassles with Katie and now this dreadful worry and responsibility with your BIL. You must think you're never going to find some peace and quiet. Please take care of yourself, too.

PenPen - what a beautiful picture! Well done to you and DD!

I feel so much better now that I know I'm not the only one fed up with the paperwork. I shred, I recycle, I file and I respond but what I never seem able to do is clear the pile! Anyway, I am determined to do it this morning. Good luck to all of us!

Well, I'd better go and dry my hair, have some brekkie and get a wiggle on!

    See you later.

N9eav - I hate it when it rains all the time, so depressing. I'll try and send you some sunshine - blue skies and sun here!

Charlies_mum - hope you feel better soon

Hester - all I can say is *hugs*

Brain is a sleepy mush, so can't really think of what to say. I was listening to the radio about the discussions about how we waste too much, and I was just shouting at the radio - "go on MSE", "go to websites like lovefoodhatewaste.com". Oh that reminds me, this woman from Sainsburys said they had a new section on their website, so I'll go and have a peruse.

    Edit - here's the link - http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/food/mealideas/leftovers/leftovers.htm
