Craftyscholar wrote: »Morning all
Well as usual I did Monday's list then folded my wings and just lurked for the rest of the week
However I have some new bookcases arriving next week for the living room so need to sort that out plus its a dreich day here and I can't/won't go to the shops till middle of week so 'the house gets it'.
So you will all get bored with me coming back at regular intervals to report.
Looks as if at least TAG is on the same plan :hello:
I'll stick with ya today Crafty. The house has been completely trashed since I got up. And I mean trashed.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: I haven't stopped since I got up at 5.50am. But you wouldn't think it.
DH and DS are off out in a bit . DS has a football tournament so they'll be gone for at least 3 hours if not longer:T:T:T. Just me, DD and the puppy.:T:T:T
So hopefully I should start making some headway.0 -

Hi Crafty,
Your way ahead of me. DH and DS are currently stressing at each other over what to take to football:rolleyes:. I'm just sitting here counting to sixty million until they have vacated the house.
I shall then adopt Cyberman mode and delete my list, I hope at a steady pace. That is as long as DD(5) doesn't decide to run away again after I tell her not to make lots of mess.
Oh to be single!!!!!!!!!0 -
I think I've just discovered the perfect hangover cure.
Poached salmon with avocado on a thick slice of home made bread (still slightly warm) liberally buttered and with a dollop of Hellman's mayonnaise on the side. I'm am feeling much, much better!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

crafty I have just reclaimed some bookshelves, so that all the books that were put in boxes, when the new radiators were put in, (winter before last) can now go back on the shelves. So I think I will be doing similar to you this weekend.
I seem to hae got rid of most of the family so I can get on with things in peace.
Michelle, I love the dress, it is a lovely cut.
I have just been reminded that I must lose weight before DDs wedding next year! I have 26lbs to go! 5 more til I'm half way.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I was having a nice peaceful time picking the blackcurrants - fiddley task when it started to rain - washing now on the maiden whilst I hunt for a recipe. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Rain stopped - I've found 3 variations on the cordial recipe so depending on how many I get I may try more than one and have a taste test. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Right that's it. I have officially given up now. I'm not getting anywhere fast.
Puppy has nicked a bar of chocolate and munched some. Just hope it doesn't make her ill.
DD has helpfully  brought in all my washing. It was only a light passing drizzle. So now I have to hang it out again as the sun is shining.
Have found blue felt tip marks in various places all over my beige carpet. Can't find the felt tip though. DD or puppy? Which one is guilty?
Just been up to do the bathroom. DH isn't even capable of emptying the bath when he has finished. So lovely soap scub ring left.
Stuff the lot of em. Now on strike till Monday when everyone is out and I can get on in peace.0 -

Mine are still green but we are further North and on a mountainside! I have run out of jam jars and have asked on Freecycle but haven't been offered any yet.
I have taken photos of play/study/exercise room and will try to post after I have finished. Don't hold yor breath. It could be some time.
DS1 has just finished putting together a set of shelves, just the BandQ cheapy pine but will do until I can afford better.
