Just made my 10000th post http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=12446015#post12446015

Sorry to give bad news but Fairford is off tomorrow http://www.airtattoo.com/airtattoo/Newsroom/news/Newsroom/AIR_TATTOO_CANCELLED_SUNDAY
Info on getting refund is on there too, was just getting it for a friend.

soappie, I am sure all will be fine, like I said just my opinion after being bugged by an ex, who thankfully has now moved!

Was nice here this morning so got one load dry outside, not so nice now, heavens haven't opened yet but won't be long.

Just phoned to get brochures from a spa, me and my friend are treating ourselves for our birthdays.

Phones ringing, will be back to edit in a mo
One day I might be more organised...........

Right, just sitting down for five minutes having prepped food most of the day (but I do enjoy doing it!)

Ex has sent a message back.Said he wasn't sure if I'd reply and wasn't sure if he should send one in the first place. He had been onto my website. Saw the photo of me up there and reckons I haven't changed at all. (Do I tell him it was taken ten years ago?):rotfl:

Says he'd often wondered how I was doing and was pleased to see I'm doing well (of course, you always big things up on a corporate website!). Seems he's started doing his family tree which is what got him to Friends Reunited.

I shall reply tomorrow. I now have an ulterior motive! I've been doing my family tree for years and have often thought about doing DS's side - but with no contact with anyone, it would have taken time ordering certificates and things. But, if I can get him to give me a copy of his research so far, I can save a lot of time.

Right, need to go and contemplate getting this barbie lit. I wonder if Pigpen would lend me her children so I could tell them to go out into the garden and blow the clouds away?

TAG don't worry about the chocolate, it's not good for them but that amount once shouldn't cause any problems
Nicki, with you not working that's probably why they said no, they won't give me credit because of that.
Dusty that does seem very petty indeed, we borrowed some cutters off my Dad which still need fixing as DP went through the wire (zapping himself in the process)
soappie, maybe he remembered and that is why he's contact you, saying that it's weird for men to remember things like anniversaries, birthdays etc, my DP only remembers our oldest sons as I saved it as part of his passnumber on something so he uses it all the time. Use him while he's there, it must be a little strange for your DS aswell after having no contact with him for so many years.
Kaz don't know how you manage it with entertaining the students aswell!

Spent an hour arguing with DP, went to the Metro to get his phone back, which they haven't fixed and he's been like a toddler in a tantrum all day. We were in the Metro under an hour, didn't buy anything, yet he moans I dragged him out shopping? When we only went to get his phone. I think todays going to be one of those days where I couldn't do right for doing wrong no matter what I try. Anyway he's thrown a complete strop about the holidays and everything, thankfully he's now gone to work, will have it out with him tomorrow evening! (Because as usual he's busy tomorrow day time)

Garage has leaked for the second time but it appears my LL for what must be the 5th time has changed her phone number, oh well, I'll send her a letter (to her Mother's address as I don't have hers) then she can't say I haven't let her know. I know she's been having problems with ex's or something but a little consideration giving me her new number surely would be in her best interests. I really have a feeling she'll end our contract in September, she said we could stay long term, but she's had 2 default notices arrive here (window was big enough on envelope to see it) which is concerning me as if she's not paying her bills etc she may need to sell.

Ok enough ranting :o sorry about that but needed a little vent. I've just done 2 hours studying in between making drinks and half listening to DSs read (I feel a bit guilty that my mind was more on my maths work but at least they're doing it) I've decided to just do reading until they go to bed as I've let them trash the conservatory with the train set and other toys, plus I hate it if I am disturbed mid question, so just reading and practise exercises then will use the PC later to work more on assignment. Going to make their dinner now then do some more, should make something for me but there is nothing I really fancy.

    *wanders off yawning**

    OMG OMG OMG.

I'm in shock and in a bit of a quandry. I need advice ladies.
My first ex-husband, who is the father of my DS, who I haven't seen or heard of for nigh on 25 years has just got in touch with me through Friends Reunited.

    What do I do?
    Do I ignore?
Do I respond - if so, how? " You dirty rotten b*stard...." "Hello how are you?"

All I know is I am currently in a state of slight shock and have no idea what to think. I have been transported back to my life 25+ years ago with good memories and bad memories. I have spoken to DS about it and shown him the contact email and he's cool with whatever I choose to do.

But, I don't know what to do!!!!!

    HELLLP!!

    IGNORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

You haven't been in touch for the last 25 years FOR A REASON!!!!

He is the EX-husband FOR A REASON!!

delete and put it to the back of your mind.. if he truly wants to make contact there are other ways and means... ie.. via a solicitor!

Had a quick whizz round everywhere to make it look presentable as mother coming up to babysit my darling children so I can go out after dark for the second time this year!!

    RANT ALERT.

My DS2 has just informed me that he left his nintendo DS in Argos when we went shoppping this morning. He has only just noticed it's missing. I tried ringing the store and after being put through the usual press 1, press 2 malarky; I eventually got through to someone who told me to shut up!! I said is this Argos Bradford, he said shut up. I said I beg your pardon and again he said shut up..wrong number..all the time..shut up!!!!

    So none the wiser there!!

I will call down tomorrow obut I don't hold out much hope that it has been handed in.

I found a very expensive phone in Sainsbury's car park last week and handed it in, so I am praying for a bit of good Karma. I daren't tell his Dad he has lost it. He is always nagging at them to take care of their stuff better
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j
