Morning, hung 2 lots of washing out, another lot doing as we speak, breadmaker on, and about to have another coffee.
Going to tackle the garden today, looking at doing a couple of raised beds.
Its not raining, :j.

Morning
Have only just managed to get up and have brekkie while i caught up with posts from yesterday.
Tag - What a sweet thing for your DD to do. Sounds like she needs to be involved in flying. I used to teach mine how to sort the laundry for me and they used to love being pegboy or girl choosing the coloured pegs for me to hang stuff out.
Lilme - its funny how we dont always see wat we do ourselves but see things in others. I always admire how much you do when we see you staying up late, early mornings, studying, managing your boys and DP :A
Hippy - I used to try and keep up and post every day but lately I have found I was spending so much time doing it I wasnt getting anything done. I'm also trying to get to bed earlier (altho only 2 nights this week before midnight  ) as I spent 3 months off sick last year with anaemia and exhaustion! I often go AWOL from the thread these days but as you are all so supprtive I wanted to catch up.
Soappie - Have a wonderful birthday and may the sun continuie to shine, it certainly isnt here :bdaycake:
Atomic Kitten were very good on stage last night (even tho I'm not a fan) and DD was so pleased I had taken her, and most importantly THE RAIN HELD OFF :T :T :T . The kitchen was a pigsty when we came back as OH hadnt done anything but then that was my fault. I'd text him and told him the crowd was so big I was having to lift DD up so she could see and I couldnt keep it up all night as she was so heavy. So he had to come and join us - not easy fighting your way through the crowd to 6 rows from the front!!! He hadnt even had time for his tea
. Poor guy he was up again a 6 for work at 7 this morning!
Right I better print off this weeks list and make a start :rotfl: !
Must do's for today
Meal Plan
Laundry
Roast Lunch/Tea
? Food shop - might postpone or do online for Tuesday (payday!)
Walk doogie (might get DD and student to do)
Bath dog as she's scratching like mad
Baking for pack ups this week - hope 32 pieces cake last longer than 2 days this time
Cant think of anything else for now so will catch you later
Kaz xMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Morning all,
I'm in a much better mood today. Feel like I actually slept properly and managed a lay in till ten past eight. Can't remember the last time that happened.
It looks like it's going to be a nice day, think that has something to do with my improved mood. DH is stressing about a bit of mess at the moment. Stresses but doesn't think to do anything about it  Have to add that he strongly protests the statement I've just made is throughly incorrect - he's hanging over my shoulder ......
gone now and I stick by what I said especially as his just flopped down into the 'masters' chair to watch the horse racing.
soappie - Happy Birthday!!!
cha97michelle - The food focus thing is a website about weight loss. It's free to register. You put all your details in height, weight etc. and then log what you eat and the excercise you do each day. It will take about 4 to 6 weeks before all my 'favorite foods' are logged in (if you take a peep you'll see what I mean)
but after that it's just a question of a few clicks.
I found it last year, then PC crashed and I couldn't remember what it was called. Did a search for it last week and it popped up on MSE. I like it cos it doesn't tell you to do anything or follow any sort of faddy diet. It's all down to you to make sure your burning the calories your eating. I plumbed in to lose a lb a week but this week I've lost 3lbs. All down to me being able to see exactly what I'm doing each day. Plus the flying really helps. Here's the link if you or anyone else is interested - www.FoodFocus.co.uk .
Crafty - Well done on the flying yesterday. You lasted longer than me:D
Kaz & lil me - Puppy had no ill effects from the nicked chocolate
PP - You might get the DS back. My son had his bike nicked 2 weeks ago whilst he was collecting papers for his paper round. Amazingly the thief returned it 48 hrs later. So you never know.
Germish, lil me & kaz- I did fell awful over the washing. She got up this morning and fed the puppy:eek:. I'm gonna end up being replaced at this rate:D
Right off to do a bit of flying now. Just a little bit. See you all later.0 -
morning all
Just nipped on to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Soappie
Hope all are well, not had chance to read the thread most of this week. Sister here this weekend which has been lovely. we had a day out in London on Friday and saw phantom of the opera (again!) in the evening. and yesterday we had a lazyish day and watched dirty dancing on blu ray.
last night I fell from top to bottom of the stairs (after a bottle of wine - oops) mainly slid on my back, but it was scarey (was wearing weirdly slippy socks and no shoes) and I'm rather bruised and sore. Poor DH thought he was going to find me in a heap at the bottom with a broken neck cos I screamed and thudded down.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday Soappie!
Tag - V sweet of your daughter. I think we are all guilty of not praising enough when our children do nice things.
Thanks for the good Karma vibes everyone. Fingers crossed that DS2 is in luck and someone has handed it in. The store doesn't open until 11.
I was thinking, if I had known he had brought it with him into the store, I would have taken it off him (all the kids had been sat in the car waiting for me with my sis and then followed me in after a bit, he went straight over to flick through the catalogues) I was a bit miffed that my sis didn't think to take it off him when they got out of the car, but then he is 9 now and really needs to start taking responsibility for his own stuff.
It made me realise that I probably do too much for them most of the time (taking the easy option I suppose).
If it is missing I think I am going to keep shtum to OH. I know I should tell him, but I really can't be bothered with all the I told you so earache.
I'll just have to hope I get plenty of surveys through so I can save them up.Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
