Something along the lines of "it's good to see you're doing well". He's probably picked up my latest surname from friends reunited (long story!) done a google search and found out various things about me and my company and various press articles along the way.
Weirdo! Hmmmm, I cant make up my mind if I'd tell him to fe ck off or just ignore him, although Serena's 'do I know you'? is a real put down hee hee
Is he maybe after your money?0 -

If he is, he's got a shock coming - my purse is tighter than that of a scotsman! (no offence meant - my second husband was a scotsman and I learnt a lot from him!) :rotfl:I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

ooooooooooooh Soappie I love a bit of drama (as long as it is in somebody else's life!). Sleep on it over the entire weekend, enjoy tomorrow first. Then assess what you will get out of it and unless it is worthwile I'd steer clear.
Going to watch the eviction now. See you all tomorrow when I shall be home alone until 2:30 - so odd on a weekend - I may stay in bed reading the papers. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

i've ordered myself a dress for 2/3 family functions this summer. shame its not in a lighter colour for a hot day, but the nicest one suitable for breastfeeding at a wedding
what do you think?
It's a lovely dress in a timeless style.0 -

None taken:rotfl:
I'm concerned over his motives if you are doing well for yourself, especially with him getting in touch after so long. Anyhoo, you are not a daftie. Do tell us what you decide to do.0 -

I think I'll make that the sub-mantra of my life
"Soappie - anyhoo - you are not a daftie"
I shall print it off and stick it on the wall above my computer to remind myself of that fact. Thank you SSLI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Lunch's made for tomorrow, clothes all found and ironed. Don't think i should dye my hair tonight as it's a highlighting kit and last time i done it, it went pure yellow at the front. Then spent a fortune at the hairdressers getting it fixed.
Shower once the washing machine is finished and i'll put the rubbish out when hubby gets home, i hate the dark.:rotfl:Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

soappie i emailed an old boyfriend on friends reunited, and he didn't reply at all. I was just wanting to reminis, but in hindsight he probably did the right thing. Who wants to stir up old hornets nests?
the putdown from serena was a good one.
Glad you all liked the dress - i thought classic, inconspicuous, discreet breast feeding, and i might wear it to 2 weddings with the same group of friends, and perhaps alter accessories to make it look different. To be honest, i wouldn't buy 2 outfits that i wouldn't wear again. I can't believe how little choice there is for formal wear. It was the same with the maternity ranges. Do manufacturers expect you to curl up indoors until it is all over?
Having a weird evening, i hate being in on my own. Couldn't get DS2 to settle till just before 9, then had to sort my dinner so opted for fishfingers, potato crunchies and frozen cauli/peas/sweetcorn. At least i'm getting my veg in. Watched some catch up telly.
Just washed up all the pots we have used today, sorted a load of washing to be put on tomorrow which is in the WM, washed the drawer from the WM, laid out clothes for me and the boys tomorrow morning, filled the kettle for the morning, got some mince and bacon out of the freezer to defrost as the fridge was looking a bit bare, and as DH is not here, i won't be shopping until Sunday as i am not taking both boys alone. Too much for me to manage. I think i will have to tell DH not to do any more overnighters until Sam is settled into a routine. I need to eat and stuff don't i.
Then i have been sat looking back at some of the earlier flylady threads - i was interested into how much DS2 has affected my routine, and i am reading all my nesting from having ds1 and having a chuckle to myself. I've not changed at all. I am always pushing myself to the limit.
I am not as tired as i thought i would be, but then again, i never go to bed early when DS is away as i get too jumpy.
Will spend a bit longer on here and then feed ds2 then go up i think.
Michelle, x0
