    Night all.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Michelle, I think you've done really well - pat yourself on the back! :T I remember when I had DD and DS was still in nappies, and I was on my own. It was really hard but you do muddle through , trust me! Just pace yourself ~hugs~

Vanilla - well done on your medal! :)

Hello! Still frazzled, still not enough hours in the day and still frustrated that I'm too kn**kered to get on here and the internet when I get home. Still flying after a fashion and still thinking of you all :-)
I've got a week off next week and I'm having a friend I haven't seen for a few years to stay for a week ( or until we run out of conversation) so I might try and get on now and again.
Soappie, happy birthday for Sunday if I don't post again!
I hope everyone is ok and doing lovely things. I'm missing spending time on here.

Michelle, your dinner sounds yummy, sometimes it's just stuff like that I fancy the most but have to faff on with stuff, maybe start cooking a little extra when you're making meals to do an extra one you can reheat when you're on your own, I always have those, they are handy for when we don't fancy the same thing aswell. I sometimes just do extra of whatever the boys are having for me, or pop a chicken kiev in with their plain chicken etc. Oh outfit, what about a jacket or shawl? maybe even a nice belt? That's the good thing about plain dresses, you can make them look completely different. I know what you mean by not being able to settle but you must try to get some sleep or just rest.

soappie, I decided if it was me I'd ignore him. I had an ex thing get in touch and he became a PITA.

Solwaykid hello :D nice to hear from you, enjoy your week off.

Well the assignments not gone well, I've lost my temper with it and threw things on the floor, which is childish, but I am not picking them up until tomorrow, or I will start reading again.

Going to go to bed, work on a timetabled list for tomorrow, then try to get some sleep x goodnight
One day I might be more organised...........

I know, I know. :o I probably should have ignored it but I have replied just now. Along the lines of - good heavens, blast from the past - how are you doing type stuff. I am akin to the original cat that got killed by curiousity. But, I'm the updated version of the cat that curiousity killed - because I have my kevlar/flak/super-dopper totally secure virtual vest on so I can be curious whilst still retaining my personal security

    Morning!

Soappie - I would have replied too, I'm too nosey not too.
Michelle - The dress is gorgeous, although I'm another one who wishes she had the figure for it :(

Want to try and finish my list yesterday but decided the evening was for me last night. Did my nails, had a drink and watched a couple of films. Was nice. OH was on form when I went to check the washing and noticed that it was starting to rain. I rushed out to bring it in and he stood in the doorway with his drink telling me his plans for the garden while he watched.

Anyway, here's the last of it...

Thumping Thursday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level Two
Mop floors - Delegate to OH

Fearsome Friday- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level Two
Vacuum the floor - Delegate to OH
    Level Three
    Clean 2 windows

    Extra Task List
    • Wash a set of curtains, nets, duvet or throw - If the sun comes out
    • Clear the drawers in bedside cupboard
    • Pay Catalogue - last chance today, otherwise it'll be late
    • Burn some more DVD's
    • Get the old chest of drawers off the landing and get it ready for journey to tip
    • Arrange time for friend to collect me and stuff for the tip over the weekend.

I'm back to work on lates this weekend. It will be interesting to see what they manage to do to the house while I'm out. I'm fearing the worse _pale_

Have a happy and productive day, those that are flying. Those that are relaxing then enjoy!

    Morning All

Loads of rain here this morning so I don't think I'll be venturing far! Going to try and sort some paperwork out and also the huge mountain of socks that need pairing - anything left over is then going in the bin!

Hope everyone has a good day

    Morning all

Stayed up far too late last night so I'm having trouble waking up this morning. But, I need to crack on and prep for the BBQ. Fortunately the weather looks like it's going to be OK.

Will finish my cuppa, have a bath and then start making pastry.
